Jerry, a Navy veteran, spent some time this week feeding and petting Doowee, and enjoying the simple peace that comes from being around horses. There’s something special about the connection between people and horses, and we’re thankful for moments like these at the ranch. 🐎

Blaik did an amazing job this week practicing barrels! 🐎 It has been so much fun watching her confidence grow with every ride. We’re so proud of the determination and joy she brings to the arena. 💚

The Oklahoma heat is definitely reminding us that every season has its purpose, even when it’s more difficult to see! 🥵 While these hot summer days can leave us longing for cooler weather, they also remind us that God is faithful through every season of life. ☀️

Just as He created spring, summer, fall, and winter with a purpose, He is also working through every season we experience, whether it’s one of joy, growth, waiting, or challenge. Even in this heat, we can trust that God is accomplishing something good. 🌳

We’re taking extra care of our riders and horses during this extreme heat, and we’re thankful for God’s protection and provision. 🐎

Charlotte has been visiting the ranch for a few weeks now and each week Charlotte and her faithful partner, Doowee, continue to build trust, learn new skills, and make wonderful progress together. We are so proud of how hard she works and the determination she brings to every lesson. Way to go, Charlotte! We can’t wait to see all that you continue to accomplish. 🐎💚

We want to celebrate our partnership with Great Plains Kubota! Since we first opened our doors, they have let us use their equipment to upkeep the ranch. Thank you so much Derrick and Jared for helping us keep the arena and the round pen looking good! Great Plains Kubota

Today we celebrate the freedoms we’ve been blessed with and give thanks for those who have courageously defended them. At Helping Hands and Hooves, we’re grateful for the opportunity to serve our community, share hope, and witness God’s healing through His creation each day.

As you celebrate this Independence Day, may your hearts be filled with gratitude, joy, and the peace that comes from the Lord.
