🎃🐾 : Halloween Safety! 🐾🎃

Halloween can be spooky fun for us, but all the doorbells, costumes, strange noises, and tempting treats can make it stressful for our dogs!

💜 Keep pups in a quiet, safe space during trick-or-treating. 🍫 Keep candy, especially chocolate and anything containing xylitol, far out of reach. 🐕 Make sure costumes are comfortable and don’t restrict breathing or movement. 🚪 Watch those doors! Even dogs who never run away may get spooked and bolt. 🕯️ Keep candles, cords, and decorations out of curious paws’ reach. 🐾 Watch for signs of stress and give your dog space to relax.

Remember, not every dog wants to join the Halloween party—and that’s okay! A cozy bed, a favorite toy, and a peaceful evening can be the perfect treat. 💙

Wishing everyone a safe and happy Halloween from CARAAF!

Hope. Help. Heal.
