She is so dog friendly and loves other dogs and other dogs must love to play in order to keep up with her. We also discovered (inadvertently) that she loves car rides. ❤️

How has Firehouse not found his person yet?

This incredible boy has spent nearly three months waiting in a shelter kennel, despite being the kind of dog people are always searching for. The truth is, Firehouse isn't just a good dog—he's a GREAT dog.

Whoever loved him before put in the work, and it shows.

That's how long Waffle has been waiting for someone to choose her.

While other dogs have come and gone, sweet Waffle continues to watch families walk past her kennel, hoping each day might finally be her turn.

At just 3 years old, Waffle is everything most people say they're looking for: ✨ Spayed ✨ Dog-friendly ✨ Well-mannered ✨ Loves toys ✨ Enjoys her daily walks ✨ Sweet and affectionate.

Waffle can be a little shy when meeting new people, but give her a few minutes and you'll see her gentle, loving personality shine through. Once she trusts you, she's all smiles, tail wags, and happy adventures.

Ninety-two days is a long time for a good dog to wait. We know her perfect family is out there somewhere—we just need them to see her.

Pet Food Pantry at Antioch Animal Services

Our shelves are filled with food!

✨️ We are so grateful to our many donors that have sent food for our community food pantry. Our basis for this pantry is to ensure no animal goes hungry and that the cost of feeding a pet is not the reason for not keeping a pet. ✨️
