Great experience this morning during Helping Up Mission deliveries! We are all so happy to support the programs and give a helping hand up.

Thank you to Giving Back, Linda's Legacy for continuing your longstanding Christmas tradition of being one of our very first stops each year. Your generosity and backpacks full of cheer help bring hope and joy to the men, women and children we serve. Merry Christmas.

This morning’s deliveries were successful! Trucks filled with hope, love and warmth went all over the city and county to help those experiencing homelessness or struggling.

Tomorrow is delivery day!!! For morning shelter deliveries: meet up and route placement begins at 8:30am with delivery launch at 9am from UMBC Stadium Lot C. Morning deliveries are recommended for all ages to participate and each route will make two stops.

Evening street deliveries: meet up and instructions begin at 3:30pm from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 4100 St Johns Lane Ellicott City, with caravan beginning shortly after.

Both experiences are very meaningful!

Please come out to help us delivery this huge act of kindness this Holiday Season. 😊

Donations are coming in but we are still low on box counts to supply 15 shelters and thousands in need on Christmas Eve!

We also need volunteers to help sorting. Student volunteer hours are available and it’s a great activity for the family to do together.

Monday, Dec 22nd volunteer and donation hours are 10-8pm. Our donations are low so please bring items to helping those in need when coming out. Thank you The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Columbia MD Congregations 4100 St. John’s Lane Ellicott City.

Items needed: Men’s, Women’s, Teens, Children’s and Baby’s warm clothing - gently used or new, all sizes. Plus, warm shoes, coats, toiletries, paper towels, toilet paper, non perishable food and hand warmers.

20Year! Super Wow and thank you to all the teachers, admin, parents and students for the support of our efforts to help others. Your generosity and love has been felt by thousands over the years.

Operation Dignity for All is tomorrow morning 9-12 or when we run out of supplies Park High School. Our donations bins are only half full and we don’t have a supplier this year so your contribution is so needed.

Please bring travel size toiletries for donation: soap, shampoo, lotion, deodorant, chapstick, toothpaste and toothbrush, comb, tissues, etc…to contribute.

For cutting scarves, please bring scissors, and a cutting mat if you can.

For wrapping boots, please bring your scissors, we will have some wrapping paper but would appreciate any you can share.

We have crayons and paper for making cards.

We emptied the donation truck tonight and would love to fill it in the morning. We accept gently used/new warm clothing - all ages and sizes, warm shoes, blankets, sleeping bags, coats, towels, non-perishable food, and hand warmers.

We look forward to seeing everyone and sharing in the Holiday together.

Another successful night of accepting and sorting donations. Tomorrow’s volunteer and donation drop time is 10-8pm. This pile looks big but so is the need. Please consider dropping off any gently used/new warm clothing for all ages and sizes, warm shoes, mens belts, sleeping bags, blankets, hand warmers, diapers, and non perishable food on Saturday. As we close out 2024, we have many to thank for a successful Holiday Drive. Because of you, we delivered hope, warmth, dignity and love to many this holiday season.
