This month, Junie's Peer Support Group proudly celebrates 3 years of serving our community. Since our founding in June 2023, this journey has been filled with challenges, victories, ups and downs, and countless blessings.
Over these past three years, there have been moments when people questioned what we were doing. Some told us to stop. Others asked why we continued. But through it all, we remained committed to our mission: serving others, offering hope, and making a positive difference in the lives of those who need it most.
We are especially grateful because everything we have accomplished has been made possible through the generosity of sponsors, supporters, family, friends, volunteers, and our own personal sacrifices. We are not grant-funded. Every program, event, outreach effort, and act of support has been built through faith, dedication, hard work, and a passion for helping others.
To every family, friend, volunteer, sponsor, and supporter who has stood by us throughout these three years—thank you. Your encouragement, prayers, and contributions have helped us continue this mission, even during difficult times.
At Junie's, our message has always remained the same: You are not alone. Your life matters. You are loved. These words are more than a slogan—they are the heart of everything we do.
We are not perfect, nor do we claim to be. We are simply people with compassionate hearts and a desire to serve. Every life touched, every person encouraged, and every family supported reminds us why we started this journey in the first place.
Serving our community is not just something we do—it is who we are. The reward comes from knowing that hope is being restored, lives are being impacted, and people are finding strength through connection and support.
As we celebrate this incredible milestone of 3 years, we look forward to what lies ahead. We will continue to serve, continue to love, continue to support, and continue to be a source of hope for those who need it.
