We are in the biggest need of Adult Guinea Pig Pellets! We were getting out a bag of new feed for the piggies today only to realize that all the bags of feed we have in stock are for baby guinea pigs 😮 we would greatly appreciate some donations for adult guinea pig feed for our piggies!

Congratulations Ace on your adoption 🎉🐾 This has been a day we've looked forward to ever since this sweet boy came to us.

Ace came to our rescue as a last hope from the owner, he was paralyzed from malnutrition to the point where we weren't sure if he would make it. We syringe fed him critical care every hour day and night for weeks. By December Ace had made a full recovery, we didnt think he would ever walk but he surprised us with how he gained the ability to even run! This sweet boy has been a miracle, we hope he has all the cuddles and love he could ever want in this next chapter of his life 💖🐾

We hope he has the best time with his new family and friend marmalade!

We had hoped that we would have better news to share this morning, but unfortunately we lost both the unwell babies before the vet opened this morning 😭 One baby passed around 3am the other early this morning.

We beleive this was due to her not having enough milk or not feeding them often enough, coco will be seeing the vet to see if we can find out what happened.

Coco now has one baby left who is still thriving. But we are keeping a very close eye on her to make sure shes okay.

This is one of the few rescues where we have almost no words, we stayed up all night last night holding them, keeping them warm and syringe feeding them every hour hoping our efforts would be enough, it just breaks our hearts that we lost them. We are just glad that we had the opportunity to meet such beautiful little babies and hope they are doing better now over the rainbow bridge.

We have had a very tough little piggy day. 🥲

As you know two days ago Coco gave birth to four baby piggies! We accepted coco because the owner was concerned that this would be a high risk pregnancy as she has had complications with stillborns and miscarriages in the past.

The babies had been looking perfectly healthy, although this afternoon they unfortunately started taking a turn for the worst. Three of her babies started experiencing lethargy and her little grey baby passed within the hour of showing signs of not feeling well.

The two other babies are still holding on. We suspect that the mom may not be producing enough milk, as although they are nursing they are lethargic. So we have been syringe feeding them milk replacement and critical care every hour on the dot, we will continue this through the night in hopes they'll start improving.

This is our first time having unwell babies and its just breaking our hearts to see them not feeling well. We hope its what we suspect and that they will start feeling better tomorrow with a full tummy.
