We have had our 501(c)(3) since 2021, and being a non-profit, our budget does not allow for the exorbitant fees that come along with advertising to reach all of our community members. I post on our social media accounts, the next door app, physical local community bulletin boards and leave flyers at the local hospital and libraries, but I am wanting to reach more community members.
I am hoping to find organizations that offer monthly newsletters, or have a physical bulletin board themselves, that I can email a flier to and be included in your newsletter, or have it posted for members to see.
My main goal is to make members of our community aware of Giving Hope Cancer Kits and what we offer. Our organization provides kits to those currently receiving cancer treatments. These kits include items to help with some discomfort, offer some comfort, and hopefully put a smile on ones face during such a trying time.
I normally do one flier a month, advertising either our Cancer Support Meetings, or reminding and informing the community of our program.
