Not a CalCo hosted event - but, HOW FUN!
Hey everyone — I’m putting together the 1st Annual Battle of the Badges charity co-ed softball tournament and wanted to get the word out.

📍 Copello Park – Angels Camp, CA
🗓 Saturday, April 26
⏰ 9 AM – 5 PM (guaranteed two games)

Team entry is $350
• $100 deposit to hold your spot
• $250 due before tournament day

Half of the money will go to the winning team’s chosen charity, and the other 50% will help fund Bret Harte Fire Tech’s trip to the Twin Towers 9/11 Memorial.

Sign-up deadline is April 15th.

CalCo Giveback Pack is a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving Calaveras County. Founded in 2021, our mission is simple: give back to our community.

Our first fundraising effort of 2026 is Donate Your Temperature—a fun and meaningful way to support local causes. Funds raised go into our general fund, which helps us:

Cover required state and local fees (Department of Justice fees, business licenses, etc.)

Sponsor local youth sports organizations

Support local families in need

Assist other local organizations with their fundraising efforts

How does it work?

It’s simple—you Donate Your Temperature!

Is it 35° outside? Donate $35

Is it 72° in your house? Donate $72

Choose any temperature you want—the number becomes your donation

Every donation is 100% tax-deductible, and every dollar stays local, supporting the Calaveras County community we all love.
