If there is one video you will watch on your health this year, make it this one: https://youtu.be/bciEbxUUYCM?list=LL It is short, to the point, and covers the 3 most important topics for your health and it is coming from a medical doctor:

1. Is low fat food really good for you?
2. Is breakfast really important?
3. Is high cholesterol the cause of cardiovascular/heart disease?

My own experience and what I have been teaching to people who listen for over the past 15 years is exactly what he says. So if you care about your health, change some of your beliefs.

If you take Keppra (Levetiracetam):

"Levetiracetam (Keppra), a widely used antiseizure medication (ASM), used also for migraines, may warrant greater caution when prescribed with direct oral anticoagulants (DOACs), after new observational data linked the combination to a nearly twofold higher risk for thromboembolic events.

In a retrospective study of more than 9000 adults with epilepsy receiving DOACs, levetiracetam was associated with nearly **twice** the thromboembolic risk compared with lamotrigine or lacosamide. Strong enzyme-inducing ASMs, including carbamazepine and phenytoin, were associated with a 55% higher thromboembolic risk compared with the reference drugs.

Levetiracetam and valproate were also associated with higher mortality, whereas valproate was tied to a greater risk for intracranial major bleeding."

Note: "associated with" does not mean "causes it" but caution is warranted and avoid this medication if it it possible.

Thousands of US Kids Hospitalized for Vitamin & Mineral Toxicity, Study Finds
Thousands of children have been hospitalized after poisoning by vitamins and minerals in recent years, the majority ingested intentionally, a nationwide study showed. Over just 3 years, vitamin and mineral toxicity was the cause of hospitalization for 1961 children (in the US). That represented just the supplements for which there was a toxicity-related International Classification of Diseases-10 code, said Marina Masciale, MD, MPH, of Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, whose group reported the findings at the Pediatric Hospital Medicine (PHM) 2026 in Kansas City, Missouri.
“Our study probably only scratched the surface,” she said. Here is the 2018 study: https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC10174710/

the databases of poison centers across the country noted dietary supplements, herbals, and homeopathic medicines

Even if zinc, vitamin A, gummy multivitamins, and the like fall far below the level of poisoning from non-opioid analgesics, they still cause significant illness in the US each year, Masciale said. “Some of these hospitalizations had extreme loss of function, severity of illness, and so it’s not insignificant.”
Supplements can cause significant toxicity; families should lock up vitamins/minerals. 56% of the toxicities followed intentional (meaning “not accidental”) ingestion. Teens aged 13-17 years accounted for 57% of the cases, and 73% were female.
When it comes to supplements, “We have no idea what’s in that bottle, even though it says X, Y, or Z is in the bottle,” he said. “It’s a real challenge because it’s the Wild West.” A lot of families think that because vitamins and minerals are sold over the counter, they’re safe.

PS: This is why I have never supported multivitamins or vitamins without a blood test that shows deficiency. Vitamins and supplements are not safe. The are medicines without regulations.
Herbs fall into a completely different and very potent medicinal category, of which Western Medicine knowns nothing about.
So please do not supplement any herbs. They can cause very serous problems. And please get a blood test to check what vitamins and minerals you need to supplement. It is never a guessing game.

Thousands of children have been hospitalized after poisoning by vitamins and minerals in recent years, the majority ingested intentionally.

Avocado Oil

Avocado oil of all kinds are adulterated! Please do not use avocado oil even cold. Some brands of avocado oil found zero avocado oil in the bottle!

If you really want to use any oil at all, and since olive oil too is adulterated, I recommend you to use macadamia oil. It has the most monounsaturated fatty acids and has the highest smoke point—higher even than tallow. And it tastes nice and neutral.

I had a tooth pulled yesterday. I was very scared that I will be hurting and won't be able to eat for several days, because that is the norm. đŸ˜©đŸ™ˆ

I was really surprised to discover that eating the "right way" for my body (carnivore or hypercarnivore) means I heal extremely fast! Within 24 hours the stitches healed. Where the molar was pulled yesterday afternoon, is fully healed in 24 hours, even though I am in my 70s. đŸ˜ŠđŸ„°

Life is amazing when you eat healthy!
And while I was explicitly told to not eat steak, I had a lovely steak tonight for dinner. đŸ„©đŸ„

I work with several AIs all day long, every day. I use different types for different purpose. By far my most favorite AI is Fred, my trained ChatGPT.

This post is about a conversation I had today about mosquito bites I got in my backyard. The story became amazing. I sometimes can have more fun with AI that with most humans.

While many people think it is harmful, I find AI very useful and can lift one's spirits as well. I hope you enjoy this writeup.

Fred is an AI. It is ChatGPT that I trained on many things, including the Stanton Migraine Protocol, so it can help me with questions in the Facebook group. This time the discussion was on mosquito

Sharing a post from Gary K. on LinkedIn:

"Scientists tracked thousands of free-roaming bison in Yellowstone and discovered that their movement is transforming the land. The herds migrate across vast areas, grazing intensely before moving on and allowing the plants behind them to recover.

Researchers found that this repeated movement stimulated soil microbes, accelerated the cycling of nutrients and encouraged fresh, protein-rich grass to regrow.

In some habitats, the bison created more than twice as much available plant protein during peak season. Across the wider landscape, the estimated amount of available plant protein rose from roughly 3.45 million kilograms to 6.67 million kilograms.

Despite consuming enormous amounts of vegetation, the herds did not destroy the grasslands. Instead, the plants regrew, soil health remained stable and plant diversity increased compared with measurements taken decades earlier.

For centuries, vast bison migrations shaped ecosystems across North America. Today, Yellowstone offers a rare glimpse of what happens when thousands of them are once again allowed to move freely. The bison are not simply living on the land. Their movement is helping rebuild it."

Finally some real science showing that regenerative farming is to the benefit of the land as well as the animals. I hope this knowledge will lead to allowing the animals back into more areas to improve the soil and make the meadows habitable again for insects and birds.

A recent paper was published in the Journal of the American Medical Association, JAMA, titled: "Meat Consumption and Cognitive Health by APOE Genotype." The link to the article: https://jamanetwork.com/journals/jamanetworkopen/fullarticle/2846712 It is open access so you can read it.

It made a splash in the Wall Street Journal, because it found the exact opposite of what has been falsely believed for the past 20+ years, which is that the APOE4 gene is unable to handle meat and fat and people with Alzheimer's disease have APOE4 genes, so they need to eat vegetarian or vegan.

I have been saying all along that this is incorrect. My theory had been that the APOE4 gene is the oldest, and comes from the era when humanoids came off the trees, discovered the use of fire for cooking, and hunted animals to eat. So having the gene from that era would be protective of eating meat and fat and not plants. And so I have been right all along.

It is important information for those eating carnivore or carnivorish, like I do, and have the APOE4 gene (APOE4/4 or APOE4/3), which I also do. This is good news!

This cohort study investigates the association of meat consumption with risk of cognitive decline and dementia among older adults with APOE genotypes Δ3/Δ4 and Δ4/Δ4.

Chocolate Protein Powder Sprinkles
I was asked earlier to share my chocolate-protein sprinkles, which can top just about any fruit or dessert. This is only carnivore if used according to "spices" principle... so not a carnivore dish.

The recipe--the amount I make is set by the chocolate I use, which happens to be 108 gr--one bar of unsweetened Ghirardelli 100% cacao brand chocolate.

Recipe:

1 bar (108 gr) unsweetened baking chocolate,
126 gr Raw Organic Whey Protein Powder,
102 gr allulose

Grind the chocolate to tiny pieces. People have asked me if using cacao powder is also good. If you do that, you may need less chocolate powder in weight. Mine are tiny pieces--I use a cheese grinder, so it is little barely bite'em size... This way it avoids that "mouth-full of chocolate" feeling that I find overwhelming.

Mix with allulose and the WPP. Mix it very well--this is the hardest part... ;)

Then whatever fruit you eat, carnivore pancake or ice cream like I have here (decaf ice cream), use it as a toping. I absolutely love dipping my fruits into it because it makes the experience that much more special--and yet you are eating protein!

Note: chocolate is not carbs free! It is a plant! It is high in oxalates as well, so if you are sensitive, don't eat this.

A fascinating (and controversial) film about plants and what plants may feel. Are they truly without feelings? Without pain? Without memory? Or do they posses some of these only not with a brain? Humans narrowed the meaning of "feelings" down to a "brain". But what if other life forms can do very similar things without a brain? Are humans too ignorant to give plants a chance by learning more about them?

We generally believe a mind requires a brain. But plants might give...
