Specials to for her expertise and time in selecting these pieces for awards! From Larine: "In selecting this year’s winners, I found myself returning to a simple truth: the extraordinary is rarely far away. It lives inside the things we pass by — water shifting in light, a chair draped with fabric or a quiet passage in the woods. The artists honored here didn’t amplify or embellish the everyday; they revealed it. Through attention, patience, and a kind of quiet devotion, each work invites us to slow down and rediscover what we thought we already knew. These pieces remind us that wonder isn’t something we chase. It’s something we notice. Guided by the three touchstones: aesthetic presence, technical clarity, and conceptual depth. The pieces recognized here excel not through spectacle, but through the quiet strength of their choices — the sensitivity of their color, the confidence of their mark‑making, and the thoughtfulness of their ideas. Selecting winners from such a high‑level group of submissions was genuinely difficult; the range of skill and vision on display speaks to a community of artists who care deeply about their craft. It has been... a privilege to spend time with work that transforms the ordinary into something resonant, reminding us that art becomes extraordinary when intention, skill, and perception align."
