Ryan's Call Foundation Ryan's Call Foundation is a Christian-Faith based 501(c)(3) Non-profit organization established in memory of Ryan Swain. That is what Ryan did !

Hello, We are the Swain's; Charles, Christy and Blake. We are the Founders of Ryan's Call Foundation, a non-profit ,faith-based charity organization that was established in memory of our son and brother, Ryan Swain. Unfortunately, we know first hand what it is like to be faced with devastating sports related injuries that can change the game instantly, and even more so, we know the devastation and the unexplainable grief that comes from losing a child and brother through death. We lost our 17 year old son and brother, Ryan on September 7, 2015 due to an accidental drowning while duck hunting. By establishing the Ryan's Call Foundation, it is our wish to carry on Ryan's legacy of caring, respect, commitment and perseverance. All too often traumatic injuries and even loss happens to young people while participating in sports or outdoor recreational. These circumstances, without a doubt, can take us out of the game for a while, or even change the game for us altogether. Often, those in such circumstances are left to recover from their injuries, and make the best of the situation. Everyone needs to be encouraged to keep going no matter what the circumstances . We have face our obstacles, know that incidents happen for a reason, trust in the Lord, encourage others and persevere.. Each situation is unique in their needs and how they need encouragement. This foundation seeks to connect to those in need through medical personnel as well as personal referrals and assisting chariltably based on their interests and needs. Ryan's Call Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit Charity organization. All donations are tax deductible. Please help us to help others to PERSEVERE !

Dear Dillard’s, please do better and sell Coast Guard Approved life preservers. Not cute little look alikes! 😬 These “pretend” life preservers could cost a child’s life! Parents, if the inside label does not say it is US Coast Guard Approved, DO NOT PUT IT ON YOUR CHILD!! Stay safe this summer and read the labels! Life jackets save lives, but only when worn!!

Puddle Jumpers ARE NOT lifesaving life vests and they DO NOT help children learn the mechanics of swimming. Read the article for more information. Buy only US Coastguard approved life vests for your child based on chest size and weight. While you’re at it, make sure every member of your family has a proper fitting, US Coast Guard approved live vest or PFD (PFD = personal flotation device).
And monitor your child when they are in the water!!!

Have you heard of a float coat/jacket? This is a valuable piece of clothing to wear when boating during colder months. A U.S. Coast Guard approved float coat could provide additional protection from cold-water immersion if you fall into the water, especially if worn over a drysuit.
