We’re honored to host Beacon of Hope’s 5th Annual Starry Starry Night Waterfront Art Walk at The Local Seafood & Oyster Bar on Sunday, June 7 at 6 PM.

Browse and bid on artwork created by talented local artists while enjoying the lake views, great food, and a meaningful cause. This year’s theme is “Celebrate America – Americana and Folk Art.”

❤️ This event is open to the public, and all proceeds from the art auction benefit Beacon of Hope, helping connect adults in our community with medical resources.

As our way of supporting this incredible organization, The Local will also donate 10% of all sales during the event.

Come by land or sea, bring your friends, and spend an evening supporting local artists, a great cause, and the community we love.

Alzheimer’s and dementia caregivers need care too… come join us at The Brookfield Assisted Living and Memory Care THIS Thursday, June 4th at 6 pm for our monthly support group!! Shout out to Dierksen Hospice’s own Cheryl White for facilitating this month!!This month’s them is “What’s on your Plate?”, where we will discuss strategies for balancing the roles and responsibilities many caregivers have.
