Also, a special thank you to our very own Elise for giving us an inside look at her experience as a Marketing Intern in Austin, Texas. We loved hearing both perspectives and getting a closer look at what a career at DFA can look like!

We’re SO excited to welcome Dimensional Fund Advisors for the very first time! Join us TOMORROW, Monday, November 2nd, at 7PM in Flavin Auditorium (ISOM 137) for a special meeting with recruiter Dave Foster and our very own Elise! Dave will be giving us an inside look at DFA, a global investment firm known for its research-driven approach, along with details about their summer internship program. Plus, Elise will be sharing her firsthand experience as a Marketing Intern in Austin, Texas! Whether you’re curious about the company, interested in internships, or want to hear what an experience like Elise’s is really like, this is a meeting you won’t want to miss. 💜Meet one of our Fundraising Chairs, Anika Challa!💜

Anika is a junior Finance major who is pursuing the AI in Business certificate from Shirley, MA. She has been a member of WiB since her freshman year and has been involved ever since. Last year she served on E-Board as Blog Chair and this year she serves as Co-Fundraising Chair! This summer she was a Category Management intern for the Operational Services Division for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. In her free time, Anika enjoys long walks!

Join us Monday, October 26th, at 7PM in Flavin Auditorium (ISOM 137) for a Halloween-themed meeting hosted by our Social Events Directors, Bella and Scarlett! We’re talking games, prizes, plenty of candy, and of course, a costume contest! So bring your Halloween spirit, wear your best costume, and you might just walk away with a prize! 💜Meet our Treasurer, Kaydee Rouse!💜

Kaydee is a sophomore Finance major from Lynn, MA. Kaydee has been a member of WiB since the beginning of Freshman year, and is now on the E-Board for the first time as WiB’s Treasurer. She was a mentee her freshman year, and is excited to be part of the Mentorship Program this year as a Mentor. She believes Women in Business is one of the best opportunities in Isenberg to meet great friends and get involved. Outside of WiB she works as a lifeguard at the UMass Rec Center and is pursuing her Real Estate Certificate through Isenberg. In her free time Kaydee enjoys hiking, traveling, and making new friends.

A huge thank you to Dean Anne Massey for joining us for our annual Massey Mindset Q&A! We loved hearing her stories, getting her advice, and having the chance to ask questions about everything from her experiences to her perspectives on life and business. This is always one of our favorite WiB meetings of the year, and we’re so grateful to Dean Massey for making it special once again. Thank you to everyone who came out and made this such a great night! 💜

💜Meet our Finance Director, Gretchen Hanley!💜

Gretchen is a junior Finance and Hospitality and Tourism Management major from Belmont, MA. Last year, Gretchen served as the treasurer and is so excited to be back on the E-Board serving as Finance Director. She has loved being a part of the E-Board and she hopes that WiB can help others find the strong community that she found! Around campus, Gretchen also works as a member services assistant at the recreation center. In her free time, Gretchen loves to spend time with friends, try new workout classes, ski, travel, and go for a run or walk. She is so excited to be leading the Finance Committee this year and can’t wait for a great year ahead!
