From welcoming guests and running activities to sharing the story of Wisconsin agriculture, our members are proud to serve the community and represent the best of 4-H.

If you're looking for a fun family activity this morning, come join us at Karow Farms! Enjoy a delicious breakfast, meet local farmers, learn about agriculture, and stop by to say hello to our amazing 4-H volunteers.

ATTENTION BASE AND OUTPOST CAMP FAMILIES! WE HAVE AN IMPORTANT SCHEDULE UPDATE:
Outpost Camps: All outpost campers will be moved to base camp around 9:00 PM tonight.
Male campers will join the existing male cabins.
Female campers will set up with their sleeping bags on the floor of the main lodge (which is the storm shelter at Kamp Kenwood), as our female cabins are currently at capacity.
New Pickup Time: Pickup for all campers has been moved up to 11:00 AM on Wednesday so everyone can travel home safely before the worst of the weather hits.
What if 11:00 AM Wednesday doesn't work for you? If this early pickup time is not possible for your family, we will gladly make individual accommodations for your child.
Important Note: If you need to arrange an alternative pickup time, you must call our camp nurse, Tammy, at 715-456-6119 to coordinate. If you are planning to arrive at 11:00 AM time, no phone call is necessary.
Thank you all for your flexibility and understanding as we keep our campers safe and dry!

Day two of Eau Dark 4-H camp was wet, but fun…. We still got to go swimming, pull some invasive plants as a service project for the park, go on a camouflage hike, make LOTS of bracelets, play games, and eat yummy food.

Calling all Cloverbuds to join us on July 16th from 9-Noon at the Oak Pavilion at Carson Park to explore mountain habitats.
This is a free camp for 4-H members, where youth will engage in STEM activities and crafts focused on mountains, rocks, and mountain animals. Registration will be open from June 1- June 30.

Did you get a State Fair Judge’s Favorite award at the Eau Claire County Fair in 2025? You can send your exhibit to the state fair. Items must be in the Extension Office and PACKED TO TRAVEL along with their filled out paperwork by the end of the day on July 15. Rachel was told she will get more details the first week of June and will send an e-mail directly to families as soon as she knows more specifics about submitting paperwork.

Calling families for a day of fun outside at Camp Nawakwa near Cornell, WI. We'll enjoy nature, make some arts & crafts, and play games with other 4-H families. This is geared toward families with kids of all ages as a way to experience family time and some camp traditions. Camp Nawakwa includes access to Picnic Lake and the Ice Age trail plus a field for games, a campfire pit, and an indoor lodge. Cost is $20/family. "Hello! I'm Sydney, a student at the University of Wisconsin Eau-Claire, and I am so excited to be the Summer Intern here in Eau Claire County. I have enjoyed learning all of the wonderful and exciting programming happening in 4-H this summer, and I am looking forward to joining in the fun! I am from Stillwater, Minnesota, and grew up as a lover of being outdoors. In my free time, you can often find me with my family or friends going for walks, spending time on the water, or trying a new baking recipe. My background is working with and creating programming for youth, so I am happy to join the team and help bring more fun programs to Eau Claire County. I am hoping to meet many new faces this summer, and I am looking forward to connecting with many of you at the fair or other upcoming events. Please say hi if you see me!"
