GREASE is officially rocking Altadena! 🕺💃

Our incredible cast is bringing everything they’ve got to the stage - powerhouse vocals, unbelievable dancing, and the kind of energy that only happens LIVE.

And getting to see audiences filling the seats, laughing, cheering, and experiencing live theatre with us again in Altadena? That part means more than we can say. 💚

We’re only TWO performances into our run and there are just 6 performances left!

🎭 A year after the Eaton Fire destroyed its longtime home, Altadena Music Theatre is back on stage.

The nonprofit theater company is opening its first fully staged production since the fire with Grease, performing in a temporary outdoor venue in Altadena after the Charles S. Farnsworth Park Amphitheatre was lost.

Founder Sarah Azcarate and her family also lost their home in the fire, making this production more than just the start of a new season, it’s another milestone in Altadena’s ongoing recovery. 🙏🏻

Heather Brooker spoke with Azcarate and cast members about rebuilding after disaster, creating a new performance space from the ground up, and what this opening night means for the company and the community.

We’re thrilled to unveil the official trailer for Altadena Music Theatre’s Little Shop of Horrors, and introduce the first members of our company: AURIAA, luz rodríguez, and Avela as Ronnette, Crystal, and Chiffon, with Haus of Lord KraVen® as Audrey II!

Howard Ashman and Alan Menken’s beloved cult classic blooms beneath the stars this September, bringing together unforgettable music, deliciously dark comedy, and a reimagined Audrey II that has to be seen to be believed!
