Ruff Dog Rescue was founded on the principle that no animal should die unwanted & unloved. After seeing the abundance of dogs, puppies, pregnant momma dogs & seniors in shelters being euthanized every day, we decided to do something! We pull dogs from the GA High Kill shelters knowing we can't save them all, but rescue the ones we can. We take pride in our rescue dogs and focus on quality over qua

ntity. Ruff Dog Rescue doesn't have a physical Shelter, we place our rescues in foster homes, where they are socialized and nurtured back to health. Ruff Dog Rescue doesn't just take healthy dogs, we rescue many dogs with health issues such as mange, heartworms, malnutrition, dogs who have been abused & neglected, have broken bones, open wounds and scars. When we are done rehabilitating them, the only thing you see are beautiful pets with a tremendous amount of love to give. We see potential for dogs to get a second chance at life, to know a loving home & compassionate family. THE BEST BREED IS RESCUE

Outdoorsy guy seeking a calm, committed relationship. My perfect day includes lounging in the grass, working on my KONG, chewing a good bone & ending the night cuddled up with someone I trust.

I’m smart, energetic & fully house-trained, so I’m already bringing quite a bit to this relationship. 😉

I can be shy when we first meet & prefer to take things at my own pace. Think slow-burn romance. Give me a little time, some personal space & probably a snack, and you’ll get to see the sweet, affectionate guy underneath.

These two adorable 6-month-old, 5 lb Maltese/Chihuahua mix puppies are each searching for their own loving forever home. While they came into rescue together, they do not have to be adopted together—each is available for individual adoption.

Robinson is a sweet little boy with a playful spirit and a heart full of love. He enjoys chasing toys, exploring the world around him, and snuggling up for cozy naps after playtime.

Louie is absolutely Beaglelicious! 🐶❤️ He’s the perfect gentleman—so good with other dogs—and has earned the position of Captain of the Welcome Wagon Squad.

After rigorous negotiations, Louie settled on a doggie-approved compensation package: extra outdoor time, treats, an extra food topper, and belly rubs. 😉

Hi, I’m Pixie — Professional Snuggler, Part-Time Comedian, Full-Time Best Friend. 🥰

I may be part German Shorthaired Pointer, part Blue Heeler, with a few mystery sprinkles mixed in ✨… but don’t let those athletic genes fool you.

I’m much more “cuddle on the couch” than “run a marathon.” 😂🛋️

At just 2 years old, I’ve already mastered some pretty impressive life skills:

🐾 Love kids? Absolutely!
🐾 Make friends with other dogs? You bet!
🐾 Respect the cats and their personal space? Of course. 😸
