Covid changed life for everyone. For us working with kids in care, it changed everything. It's been years since I've done this and proud of myself to have shaken off the 'nerves' and 'studders' to blow it out of the park in the end.

How sad. This is real people! As a former foster child, we are not tracked after we leave care. We go going missing while in care and no one follows up. Seriously, for five consecutive years, age 12-17, there was no contact from a Georgia social worker. I graduated & aged out and they NEVER knew it. I was on my own, no help and no support. Yet, the monthly stipend payments kept rolling into my foster parents bank account. You know, the auto switch .. Georgia, do you know where ALL of your foster children are tonight? Just sayin'.
