Day 4 in France 🇫🇷❤️

With a few days still ahead, our Serve Tour team continues to serve alongside local churches, build relationships, and share the hope of Jesus in communities across France.

Every conversation matters. Every act of kindness matters. Every seed planted matters.

Would you join us in praying for the remainder of this week?
🙏 Pray for strength, energy, and encouragement for our volunteers as they continue serving.
🙏 Pray for open doors and meaningful conversations with those who may be hearing about Jesus for the first time.
🙏 Pray for local churches to be strengthened and equipped long after this team returns home.
🙏 Pray for hearts across France to be receptive to the Gospel and for lives to be transformed by the love of Christ.

What God is doing here is bigger than a single week of service.

Together, we're praying for lasting Gospel impact throughout France.

Thank you for praying with us.

So thankful for all of our Disaster Relief Volunteers! 🙌

To every volunteer, pastor, donor, and church faithfully serving—this verse is for you.

God sees the quiet obedience.
He honors the perseverance.
And He promises a harvest in due time.

Don’t grow weary. What you’re doing matters more than you know. 🌾

Some people walk into your life quietly… and leave a mark you never forget.

Chuck was one of those people.

He’d stop by the Sheridan Parkside Life Center with a joke ready, ask about their kids, tease them about something random, and somehow make everyone around him smile. Over time, he became more than a client. He became family.

Then one ordinary Tuesday, everything changed. They received a phone call saying Chuck had been found deceased in his apartment.

The grief was heavy. But in the middle of heartbreak, God opened a door none of them expected.

As they searched for his family, they were reunited with people Chuck had been estranged from for years. And when they hosted his memorial service at Send Relief's Affiliate Ministry - Sheridan Parkside, the small church filled with siblings, cousins, in-laws, friends, and people who hadn’t been together in a very long time.

Together, they remembered Chuck. Together, they grieved. And together, they heard the hope of the Gospel.

Chuck had never stepped foot in a church before joining the Life Center on Sunday afternoons. But he experienced the love of Jesus through people willing to share not only the Gospel… but their lives.

Sometimes ministry looks like sermons.
Sometimes it looks like simply showing up, loving deeply, and walking with people through both joy and loss.

Please pray for Chuck’s family, for those grieving his loss, and for every person wrestling with questions about faith and hope. Pray that even in heartbreak, people would encounter the peace and love of Christ. ❤️

Every photo tells a story. ❤️🇫🇷

A conversation on a sidewalk.
A prayer with someone hurting.
A church opening its doors to the community.
Volunteers serving people they had never met just days before.

That’s what Serve Tour France is all about — ordinary people showing the love of Jesus in practical ways and building relationships that can lead to lasting hope.

These photos from past Serve Tours around the world remind us how impactful these trips can be.

Would you pray for the churches, leaders, and volunteers serving across France this week?
Pray for open hearts, meaningful conversations, and lives to be changed through the Gospel.

And pray that every person served would feel seen, loved, and reminded they are not forgotten đź’›

In places marked by conflict, simple acts of compassion can open the door to eternal hope.

Through trusted local partners, food and water are reaching people in hard-to-access areas of Myanmar. In one recent encounter, a man received care in a moment of deep need, heard the gospel, and chose to follow Jesus.

Thank you for praying, giving and serving with Send Relief. Your generosity helps bring both tangible help and the hope of Christ to people in their place of need.

Michael Cooper was not prepared for what he saw — but he knew it would be unusual.

Volunteers had come to his hometown of Salt Lake City from Houston and Virginia, most of them strangers to each other. They were doing something that seemed almost too simple for the distance they’d traveled: handing out donuts to high school students on their way into class.

But Cooper wasn’t concerned about the donuts or those volunteers. He was curious to see how his daughter would handle things.

Here she was — a 15-year-old freshman — standing with those volunteers at the school entrance her mother had prayed over for 11 years, telling every student who walked past: "Come to Leap of Faith. Jesus loves you."

That school has 20 Christian students.

That morning, they stood in front of their classmates and talked about Jesus. Because 275 strangers traveled from 15 states and showed up to hand out donuts.

"What I got to witness," Cooper told the rally crowd that night, "was 15 million Southern Baptists standing behind my daughter."

That's what Serve Tour Salt Lake City looked like.
37 churches. 24 projects. 270 gospel conversations.
Doors knocked. Bibles given. Prayers prayed at a skate park, inside a refugee community, on a college campus, inside a correctional facility.

Most people in Salt Lake City don't know a single biblical Christian. In one weekend, 275 people flew and drove to remind the missionaries already there that they are not alone.

There are people sitting in church every Sunday carrying wounds no one can see.

The child who grew up in abuse.
The veteran haunted by memories.
The foster parent overwhelmed by trauma behaviors.
The neighbor silently battling anxiety, grief, or addiction.

And sometimes, without realizing it, the church can unintentionally make hurting people feel even more unseen.

But what if our churches became places where wounded people felt safe, known, and loved?

Send Relief’s free course, How to Become a Trauma-Informed Church, helps pastors, leaders, and volunteers better understand how trauma impacts the body, mind, and spirit — and how the Church can reflect the compassion of Jesus in the way we serve and care for people.

Because ministry is not just about preaching truth.

It’s also about creating spaces where people can heal enough to hear it. ❤️

What if this season of your life isn’t a waiting room… but a calling?

Right now, God is using young adults to meet real needs and open doors for the Gospel across North America—and you could be part of it.

The Journeyman program is a 2-year opportunity to live on mission—serving alongside local churches, building relationships, and stepping into real moments that matter.

You don’t need it all figured out.
Just a willingness to say yes.
Because when you step out in faith… lives change. Including yours.
