Gathered. Now sent.

The FCCI 2026 Gathering: All Things New came to a close this week at Stein Eriksen Lodge, and it ended the way it began, as a family.

Tuesday night's final dinner program brought all of us back to the table one more time. Then we stepped outside for s'mores around the fire, where the conversations of the week turned into prayers, plans, and promises to stay in touch.

Wednesday morning, we gathered in the Flagstaff Mountain Room for worship and devotions before heading home. It was a fitting send-off: hearts full, minds sharpened, and a renewed calling to serve Christ in our businesses with even greater wisdom and insight.

"Behold, I am making all things new." — Revelation 21:5

To everyone who came, spoke, sponsored, served, and prayed: thank you. The work God has given us is waiting, and we're going back to it better equipped and more connected than when we arrived.

Every organization is asking what AI means for its people. Day Three at the FCCI 2026 Gathering gave us room to ask it together.

James Poulter opened Session 3 with a keynote drawn from his new book, AI at Work: How to Build a Full Stack Organization. He took us inside how AI is already reshaping the way teams think, decide, and deliver, and challenged leaders to build organizations where the technology serves people rather than replacing them.

Then the tables took over. Questions around AI application and deployment sparked some of the best conversation of the week.

The breakouts went deeper still. Brett Billups led "Employee Care in the Age of AI Disruption." David Saviola asked "What's Still on the Table?" Ryan Dickinson and Zach Miller (releasing FCCI's UncommonOS) asked whether our operating systems look like Jesus's, and reminded us that the resources haven't changed. Only the delivery has.

The sessions may be why people register. The relationships are why they come back.

Day Two of the FCCI 2026 Gathering: All Things New was full of both. Over breakfast with Jordan Raynor, in the hallways between sessions, and around every table in the ballroom, friends of many years picked up right where they left off. First-time guests were introduced, welcomed, and pulled into the conversation.

We started the morning in worship, side by side, and stayed rooted in the theme that holds this week together: "Behold, I am making all things new." (Revelation 21:5)

That's what kingdom business looks like up close. Leaders who share a faith and a calling, sharpening one another, swapping hard-won lessons, and finding partners for the work God has given them.

Not just another conference. A community.

AI is reshaping how we work. It doesn't get to decide why we work.

That tension set the tone for Sunday night's kick-off of the FCCI 2026 Gathering: All Things New at Stein Eriksen Lodge in Deer Valley, Utah.

The evening started on the terrace in the afternoon sun, with old friends catching up and new faces finding their place at the table. Then we moved into the ballroom to worship together before our first keynote.

Jordan Raynor opened Session 1 with "Redeeming Your AI," a call for Christian leaders to bring biblical guardrails to the tools now running through our businesses. He took us back to the beginning, to Genesis 1:28 and the call to be fruitful, fill the earth, and steward it well. New tools don't change that assignment. They raise the stakes on how faithfully we carry it out.

Guests were invited to take home Jordan's books, compliments of FCCI: Redeeming Your Time, Mere Christians, and The Creator in You.

Before the first guest walks through the door, a lot of quiet work happens.

This week the FCCI team has been on the ground at Stein Eriksen Lodge in Deer Valley, Utah, getting ready for the 2026 Gathering: All Things New.

Signs are on the easels. Gift bags are packed and lined up. Sponsor boards are in place. And yes, there's been plenty of time around the table, planning and walking through every detail together.

Our theme this year comes from Revelation 21:5: "Behold, I am making all things new." We believe it speaks directly to the moment business leaders are living in. How we work is changing. Why we work never will.
