Atlantic Institute is a nonprofit organization whose goal is to facilitate dialogue and bridge cultures around the globe. For a better world of peace and understanding, we would like to develop public awareness for diverse cultures, beliefs, traditions, and opinions. With our branches in Florida, Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, and South Carolina, we have been able to dedicate our efforts and resources for building cross-cultural and interfaith dialogue.

We are humbled and grateful to share that Atlantic Institute has once again been named Best Non-Profit Organization in the 2026 Best of North Atlanta Awards, presented by Appen Media Group! 🏆

This recognition belongs to our entire community. With more than 100,000 votes cast across over 180 categories, this honor reflects the trust and support of the neighbors, friends, and partners who serve alongside us. Every dialogue program, every service project, and every shared table has been made possible by people who believe in building bridges and caring for one another.

Alongside our engagements during the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly, the Atlantic Institute had the privilege of visiting several of our valued partner institutions in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.

Our visits with the Alliance for Shared Values, Fountain & Blue Dome Publishing, Embrace Relief, and Chestnut Retreat Center offered meaningful opportunities to deepen longstanding relationships, exchange perspectives, and explore new avenues for dialogue, service, education, and civic engagement. In the margins of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly, Atlantic Institute was honored to join the Journalists and Writers Foundation and 56 of our Global Partners from 30 countries in organizing the 11th Annual SDGs Conference, held September 21–23 in New York City.

Atlantic Institute was especially honored to host Ambassador Michèle Taylor, former United States Ambassador to the United Nations Human Rights Council, and Stacey Cotton, former Chief of Police for the City of Covington and member of the Georgia Board of Public Safety, alongside other distinguished participants representing our community.

Bringing together diplomats, international leaders, academics, civil society representatives, faith leaders, journalists, and advocates from across the world, the three-day gathering created an important global platform for advancing the Sustainable Development Goals and strengthening dialogue, cooperation, and peaceful societies.

Throughout the High-Level Reception, SDGs Roundtable Discussions, and Annual SDGs Conference, we were privileged to engage with our fellow global partners, participants, and colleagues from around the world. We are deeply grateful to the Journalists and Writers Foundation, our fellow global partners, our group, and all who contributed their leadership and perspectives to this significant gathering. Atlantic Institute was delighted to come together for a special Qur’an & Torah Conversation gathering in the sukkah, sharing an evening of scripture, reflection, and friendship during Sukkot.

The special setting of the sukkah made the evening especially meaningful, creating space for thoughtful conversation and learning. We are deeply grateful to our friends for welcoming our gathering into this special tradition and for the friendship that continues to grow through these conversations. Atlantic Institute was grateful to gather over lunch with our dear faith and community leaders from across Alpharetta for a meaningful time of fellowship and conversation. Coming together around the table, we reflected on our shared commitment to serving our neighbors, strengthening our community, and finding meaningful ways to support one another’s efforts. The gathering was also an opportunity to deepen the friendships and relationships that make collaboration and service possible.

Atlantic Institute was delighted to welcome our dear friends from the Focolare Community for a beautiful afternoon of friendship, fellowship, and meaningful conversation. Gathered around the table, we shared a wonderful meal, had an opportunity to hear about community values of the Focolare Community, and enjoyed the kind of sincere conversations that deepen understanding and turn encounters into heartfelt friendships.

Atlantic Institute was delighted to bring together our community for our latest Fountain Forum, “Understanding Across Shared Values: The Architecture of Trust.” Through thoughtful reflections and an engaging conversations, our speakers explored what it means to build genuine understanding, and how shared values can help strengthen the relationships that hold our communities together. We are thankful to the Woodward Academy and Dr. Christopher RayAlexander for hosting us at a beautiful setting of fellowship.

The conversation continued around the dinner table, where guests had the opportunity to connect, exchange perspectives, and deepen friendships in a warm spirit of fellowship. Our heartfelt thanks to our distinguished speakers, moderator, and everyone who joined us for this meaningful evening. Atlantic Institute was grateful to join our friends from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for a wonderful afternoon of community service, building bird boxes for the City of Milton Parks & Recreation. Volunteers of all ages worked side by side to build bird boxes for our local parks, sharing conversation and fellowship along the way. The afternoon reflected how coming together around a shared purpose and service opens a meaningful opportunity to get to know one another and build genuine friendships.

Following the service project, we gathered around the table for a beautiful meal and continued the conversations and fellowship that had begun while working side by side. Our heartfelt thanks to our LDS friends, the City of Milton Parks & Recreation, and everyone who joined us. We look forward to many more opportunities to serve our community and strengthen our friendships together.

We were delighted to come together for the Multicultural & Multifaith Leadership Network Gathering, bringing friends and leaders from cultural and faith backgrounds around the same table. The lunch was filled with meaningful conversations and even a friendly game of cricket afterward! Moments like these remind us that friendship often grows through the simplest things of gathering together, listening to one another, sharing experiences, and making room for joy along the way.

Grateful to everyone who joined us and continues to help strengthen a community rooted in friendship, understanding, and mutual respect.
