πŸ’™πŸ« PULMONARY FIBROSIS IS PERSONAL TO ME. πŸ«πŸ’™

When people hear the words Pulmonary Fibrosis, they may simply hear the name of a disease.

I hear my husband’s name β€” Timothy D. Robinson Sr.

Timothy was diagnosed with Pulmonary Fibrosis in 2005. For years, I watched the man I loved fight for something most of us never think twice about β€” his next breath.

I watched him face the challenges of this disease with strength, faith, and determination. His journey eventually led to two double-lung transplants, one in 2017 and another in 2021.

In October 2021, Timothy passed away at only 54 years old.

But his story did not end there. πŸ’™

His journey became part of my purpose.

The Timothy D. Robinson Foundation Enrichment Center carries his name because I refuse to allow his fight to be forgotten. We raise awareness because there are families right now hearing the words Pulmonary Fibrosis for the first time. There are spouses becoming caregivers. There are patients struggling to breathe. There are families waiting for transplants, searching for answers, and praying for more time.

This is why we fight.

We fight for greater awareness.
We fight for education and earlier diagnosis.
We fight for research and better treatments.
We fight for organ donation.
We fight for patients, caregivers, and families.
And we fight so that no one facing this disease feels like they are fighting alone.

September is Pulmonary Fibrosis Awareness Month, but for me, awareness doesn't end when September does.

I will continue speaking Timothy's name.
I will continue telling his story.
I will continue advocating.
And I will continue fighting for every breath.

Timothy's life mattered. His journey mattered. And through TDRFEC, his legacy continues to breathe purpose into the lives of others.

πŸ’™ SEPTEMBER IS PULMONARY FIBROSIS AWARENESS MONTH πŸ’™

For me, this month will always be personal.

I watched my husband, Timothy D. Robinson Sr., fight Pulmonary Fibrosis with incredible strength and courage. I stood beside him through the difficult days, the victories, and two double-lung transplants.

Today, I continue the fight in his memory.

What began as our journey has become my purpose and our mission at the Timothy D. Robinson Foundation Enrichment Center.

Throughout September, I will continue to raise my voice for the patients struggling to breathe, the caregivers standing beside them, the families searching for answers, and the loved ones we carry in our hearts.

🫁 We need more awareness.
πŸ’™ We need more education.
❀️ We need more advocacy.
πŸ™πŸ½ We need hope.

Timothy may no longer be here physically, but every time we educate a family, support a patient, advocate for change, or bring this community together, his legacy continues to breathe.

I will keep walking. I will keep advocating. I will keep telling his story.

His Breath. His Legacy. Our Mission. πŸ’™

This month, the Timothy D. Robinson Foundation Enrichment Center is committed to raising awareness, educating our community, supporting families, and honoring the lives impacted by Pulmonary Fibrosis and Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD).

For us, this mission is personal. But it is also bigger than one story. It is about every patient fighting to breathe, every caregiver standing beside them, every family searching for answers, and every life touched by this disease.

🫁 KNOW MORE. TALK MORE. ADVOCATE MORE.

**EXCUSES DON’T PRODUCE RESULTS.**

When you consistently make excuses or blame others for your shortcomings, you remove the opportunity to **grow, change, and become better.**

At some point, you have to ask yourself:

**What can I do differently to get different results?**

Growth requires **accountability.**
Change requires **action.**
Results require **consistency.**

Stop focusing only on what someone else did, didn’t do, or should have done. Take an honest look at what **you can control.**

What can you improve?
What habit needs to change?
What do you need to learn?
Where do you need to be more disciplined?
What action have you been avoiding?

You may not be responsible for every situation you face, but you are responsible for how you **respond, adjust, and move forward.**

**Less excuses. Less blame. More accountability. More action.**

Different results require you to **do something different.**

πŸ”₯ GAME TIME. πŸ”₯

As the Founder, I’ve taken the last few days to get quiet, refocus, and take a deeper look at our Vision, Mission, Purpose, and where we are headed next.

And I came to one conclusion:

I have work to do.

Being the Founder means more than having the vision. It means having the courage to protect it, make the hard decisions, restructure when necessary, and make sure the organization is actually moving toward the purpose it was created to fulfill.

I’m proud of what we’ve built, but I also know we are capable of so much more.

This next season requires stronger leadership, greater accountability, intentional partnerships, sustainable revenue, meaningful programming, and measurable community impact.

I know what I see for the future.

Now it’s time to make sure the structure, team, and strategy match the vision.

I’m focused.
I’m ready.
And I have work to do.

πŸ”₯ Founder Mode: ACTIVATED.
GAME TIME.
