💛🎗️ NOVEMBER IS BEREAVED SIBLINGS MONTH 🎗️💛

When a child loses their battle with cancer, we often focus on the heartbreak of the parents. But there are other hearts shattered by that loss, too. The hearts of their brothers and sisters. 💔

They lose more than a sibling. They lose a best friend, a partner in childhood adventures, someone who was supposed to grow old alongside them. They lose the memories they never got to make, the milestones they were supposed to celebrate together, and a piece of the family that can never be replaced.

And sometimes, in the midst of everyone else’s grief, their pain becomes the quietest in the room.

But their grief matters just as much. 💛

This is one of the reasons Ady’s Embracing Equines is so close to our hearts. Along with providing equine-assisted experiences for children battling cancer, our mission includes bereavement support for the siblings left behind.

Through the healing connection between children and horses, we hope to provide a place where grieving siblings can find comfort, express emotions they may not have words for, and simply be children again, even if only for a little while. ❤️‍🩹

Because losing a brother or sister doesn’t end when the funeral is over. Their absence is felt at birthdays, holidays, graduations, weddings, and countless ordinary moments throughout a lifetime.

This November, let’s remember the siblings. Check on them. Include them. Talk about their brother or sister. Let them know their grief is seen, their memories matter, and their loved one will never be forgotten.

They deserve to be supported, remembered, and loved through their grief, too. 💛

Our program provides gifts of comfort and joy to children battling cancer and heart disease as well as Little Farmers Camps at the farm Ady spent so much of her time at growing up.

A Childhood Cancer Remembrance Tree

Christmas is a season filled with love, joy, traditions, and memories. But for families who have lost a child, it can also be a painful reminder of someone who should still be here.

There are stockings that won’t be filled, presents that won’t be opened, and little voices that won’t be heard on Christmas morning.

But there is one thing that will never change.

Their place in our hearts. 💛

This Christmas, The Stinky Karter Foundation is honored to introduce “Forever on Our Tree,” a special Christmas remembrance tree dedicated to the beautiful children whose lives were taken by childhood cancer.

🎄 Our remembrance tree will be proudly displayed at the local museum’s Festival of Trees!

Adorned in gold, the color of childhood cancer awareness, our tree will feature beautiful miniature framed photographs of children who have passed away from cancer.

Each ornament will represent a child. A face. A name. A story. A life that mattered and continues to matter.

✨ HOW TO HONOR YOUR CHILD ✨

For a donation of $15, you can have a personalized photo ornament created in memory of your child and displayed on our Christmas tree during the Festival of Trees.

For $20, your child’s ornament will be displayed throughout the event and then carefully packaged and mailed to you afterward as a keepsake.

Every ornament will feature a photograph of your child, lovingly displayed in a miniature frame.

💛 All children who have passed away from cancer are welcome to be honored, regardless of their diagnosis.

📅 DEADLINE: NOVEMBER 10, 2026

All ornament requests, photographs, and donations must be submitted by November 10 to allow time for us to prepare each ornament before the Festival of Trees.

Through this project, we hope to create something beautiful for families while reminding our community that childhood cancer is so much more than statistics.

These children had names. They had personalities, dreams, favorite things, and families who love them beyond measure.

And they deserve to be remembered.

As we prepare to celebrate our first Christmas without Kinlee, it means so much to us to create a space where her memory can shine alongside the memories of so many other precious children.

And knowing that visitors to the Festival of Trees will have the opportunity to see their beautiful faces and remember their lives makes this even more meaningful.

Because even though they are no longer here to gather around the Christmas tree, they will always have a place on ours. 💛

5.36 BILLION versus 732 Million....

‼️Americans spent $4.5 billion on Halloween candy in the four weeks leading up to Halloween in 2025. In comparison, the NIH reported an estimated $732 million in pediatric cancer research funding for all of fiscal year 2025.‼️

‼️Americans spent an estimated $860 million on PET Halloween costumes in 2025, compared to an estimated $732 million spent by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) on pediatric cancer research for fiscal year 2025.‼️

THAT’S 5.36 BILLION ON STUPID, INSIGNIFICANT CRAP FOR ONE DAY, MEANWHILE OUR CHILDREN ARE DYING DAILY! MAKE IT MAKE SENSE!

The reality is that pediatric cancer remains significantly underfunded, leaving promising research and potentially life-changing discoveries waiting for the support they need.

MIB Agents' Family Funds honors and remembers Adyson on the anniversary of her passing, October 28th.

💛From Adyson's family, "October 28, 2024 is the day we had to say goodbye to our beautiful daughter, Adyson Olivia Franz, after 13 months of fiercely battling Osteosarcoma. Ady had just turned 17. She should be here. Instead, we are marking 2 years without her.
Through Adyson’s Family Fund, we carry her story forward. We remember her not only for the way she died, but for the way she lived. We say her name. We tell her story. We remember the children who are still fighting. We remember the families sitting beside hospital beds, praying for more time. And we remember the families who, like ours, have had to learn how to live in a world where their child should still be here.
Today, we don’t want Adyson remembered simply as a child who lost her battle with Osteosarcoma. We want her remembered as the incredible girl she was. Ady was so much more than her diagnosis.

💛 WELCOME TO ADY’S ARMY!💛

To all of our new followers, WELCOME! And to those who have been here supporting us from the beginning, THANK YOU! We are so grateful to have each and every one of you here. 💛

For those who may not know our story, I wanted to take a moment to introduce you to the beautiful girl behind Ady’s Army and share why this page means so much to me.

My daughter, Adyson Olivia Franz, was a beautiful, funny, loving, and faith-filled young lady who had a passion for horses and a heart for helping others. On September 7, 2023, just weeks before her 16th birthday, Ady was diagnosed with Chondroblastic Osteosarcoma, a rare and aggressive form of bone cancer.

After fighting with the strength of a thousand warriors for 13 months, Ady ran into the arms of Jesus on October 28, 2024. She was just 17 years old.

But her story didn’t end there.

Ady’s Army was created to honor her life, continue her legacy, and turn our love for her into something meaningful for other children and families facing unimaginable battles.

Through Ady’s Army, we focus on childhood cancer awareness, especially Osteosarcoma, while providing hope, comfort, and opportunities for healing through two very special programs.

🐴 Ady’s Embracing Equines — Through the Beaver County Foundation, this program provides equine-assisted therapy for children battling cancer, as well as bereavement support through equine therapy for siblings who have lost a brother or sister to pediatric cancer.

🐴 Ady’s Echo of Hope — A fund under the Beaver County Cancer and Heart Association’s Angels R Us program, providing Little Farmers Camps at Blue Ribbon Farms (Ady’s home away from home) and gifts of comfort and joy for children battling cancer and heart disease.

Horses were such a huge part of Ady’s life, and being able to share that love with children who are fighting battles of their own is something incredibly special to me.💛

But this page is about more than just our programs.

It’s about raising awareness, educating others, remembering the children we’ve lost, celebrating our survivors, supporting those still fighting, and reminding families that they are not alone.

It’s also about keeping Ady’s name, her beautiful smile, her faith, and her love for others alive.

As her mom, I pour my heart into this page. Some posts are educational, some are uplifting, and some are incredibly difficult for me to write. But every single one comes from a place of love and a desire to make a difference.

We are not a monetized page. We aren’t here for likes or numbers. Every new follower means another person learning about childhood cancer, another person who may share our mission, and another opportunity to help a child or family who needs it.🙏🏼

So whether you knew Ady personally, have been touched by childhood cancer, love horses, or simply believe in what we are trying to accomplish, THANK YOU FOR BEING HERE! 💛

I am the 2026-2027 YEDA Ambassador. I am an Equestrians with Disabilities (EWD) Rider. I want to promote inclusion in the equestrian world. I want to raise awareness to the programs available and show how competitive the EWD classes are.

💛🎗️ WE DID IT!!! 1,000 FOLLOWERS!!! 🎗️💛

I honestly cannot thank each and every one of you enough! My heart is so full right now. ❤️

When I set the goal of reaching 1,000 followers by October 28th, the second anniversary of Adyson’s passing, I wasn’t sure if we could do it. But here we are, 2 days early, and 1,000 people strong! 🥹💛

To some, 1,000 followers might not seem like a huge number. But to me, it means EVERYTHING.

It means 1,000 people have chosen to be part of something that was born out of the greatest heartbreak of my life. It means Ady’s story is still being told, her beautiful smile is still being seen, and her name is still being spoken.

When I lost Adyson, I lost my daughter, my best friend, and the future I had imagined for her. But I didn’t lose the love I have for her, and I never will. Ady’s Army is one of the ways I get to continue being her mom, loving her, and sharing the incredible person she was with the world. 💛

Through Ady’s Embracing Equines and Ady’s Echo of Hope, my hope is to turn that love into something meaningful for children battling cancer, their siblings, and families who understand a journey no one should ever have to face.

Every single person who followed, shared a post, invited a friend, left an encouraging comment, or simply took the time to learn about Adyson has helped make this possible.

And to those of you who have been here since the very beginning, who continue to show up for Ady and for me, please know that I see you, and I appreciate you more than words could ever express.

I know reaching 1,000 followers won’t change what happened to my girl. Nothing ever will. But knowing that her life continues to touch people, even those who never had the privilege of meeting her, brings me a kind of comfort that is difficult to explain.

I truly believe God is helping me find purpose in the pain, and I pray He continues to guide this Army as we grow and help others in Ady’s memory.🙏🏼

October 28th will always be one of the hardest days of my life. But this year, because of all of YOU, I have one more beautiful reminder that Adyson has not been forgotten. 💛
