Today, the Zeta Amicae of Alexandria proudly stand alongside our Friends of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated in bringing awareness to mental health and the importance of emotional wellness in our communities. Mental health matters, and so does creating safe spaces where people feel seen, heard, supported, and loved.
In the United States, Black women are often expected to carry so much while suffering in silence. Anxiety is one of the most common mental health challenges affecting Black women, yet many go untreated due to stigma, lack of resources, and the pressure to always appear “strong.” We want to remind every woman that it is okay to rest, speak up, seek help, and choose yourself. Strength also looks like healing. 🩵🤍
