Sometimes God asks us to get on board with the plan quickly, so we can fulfill God's will in the world. Moses and Peter both experienced moments like this. Let us be ready to hear God's plan for us.

Today we'll look at two scriptures where I think God was telling people to quickly get on board with the plan so they can move forward. The scriptures are Exodus 3:1-15 and Matthew 16:21-26. I look forward to worshipping with you on Sunday at 10 and looking deeper at these texts.

Who do you say Jesus is? That one question has the power to transform your entire identity. When Simon declared Jesus as the Messiah, he became Peter—a new person with a new purpose. Your belief in Jesus doesn't just change your beliefs; it changes who you are.

God's identity of love and light overcomes any oppressive power a leader, or human made government, may impose. The Israelites during their time in Egypt knew. The disciples of Jesus knew. And we know it holds true today.
