What a beautiful weekend with the Sing for Care Collective! 💙🎶

Our intergenerational choir had the privilege of sharing music with residents at Mallard Cove, Bay Bluffs, and Pineview Cottage.

Thank you to our choir members, facility staff, residents, and families who helped make the Golden Age of Broadway tour so special. Moments like these remind us of the power of music to bring generations together.

BIG NEWS... WE’RE MOVING! Quite literally, if I’m not facilitating a session, I’m driving to the next one!✨

The Alanson studio space has been beyond inspiring and has played such an important role in helping music therapy grow in our community. I am incredibly grateful for every lesson, session, song, and memory that happened within these walls.

The exciting part? Music therapy is growing faster than I ever imagined. As our community continues to embrace these services, it has become clear that the best way to make music therapy accessible is to bring it directly to the people who need it most.
So, we’re going back to our roots and returning to a fully mobile office starting July 1st! 🚗🎶

While it’s bittersweet to say goodbye to this chapter, I’m thrilled for what’s ahead. Thank you to everyone who has supported this journey so far. I can’t wait to continue bringing the power of music therapy to homes, schools, elder care facilities, and communities throughout the area.

Here’s to the next adventure! ❤️🎵

Congratulations to these four sweet girlies for performing in our Mini Spring Recital! 🌸🎶

It means so much to me that my students have the opportunity to perform in a safe, supportive environment surrounded by friends and family. These moments play such an important role in building self-esteem, confidence, and personal growth—and I’m so proud of each of them!

I’m often asked about private lessons, and while I’m so grateful for the interest, I intentionally keep my studio very small as my primary focus is on serving my music therapy clients. Thank you for understanding and continuing to support what I do 💛

We had the best time yesterday taking Sing for Care Collective “on tour” as we visited Mallard Cove Assisted Living, Bay Bluffs, and Pineview Cottage.

Our purpose is simple: to bring music, joy, and meaningful connection to our elder communities while raising awareness for the profound impact of professional music therapy services.

While we hope the residents felt the joy we brought through song, I think our volunteers may have been the most impacted. Watching each resident light up with emotion as we sang together was incredibly moving. Moments like these remind us why this work matters so much.

Two especially special moments from the day:

✨ We invited a resident to join our group to sing “Take Me Out to the Ball Game.” She was absolutely overjoyed — singing her heart out, doing a little dance, and sharing how grateful she was for the opportunity. It was such a beautiful moment.

✨ After our group performance, we were invited to sing for a gentleman who is bedridden. He was so engaged and even sang a few words along with us. His gratitude — and his family’s — meant the world to us.

This is what it’s all about. Music has a powerful way of reaching people, creating connection, and bringing comfort in ways words alone cannot.

A huge thank you to all of our incredible volunteers and sponsors who made this day possible.
