Sometimes the most meaningful learning opportunities happen outside the traditional classroom... and grants can help make those opportunities possible.

PEF grants can support:

The Pellston Education Foundation was born from a family's desire to turn loss into lasting impact.

After Pellston alumnus Blake Wagenschutz (Class of 2011) passed away in 2021, his parents, Mark and Kim, wanted to honor his passion for the skilled trades by creating a scholarship for students following a similar path.

As they explored how to steward those memorial funds, something even bigger took shape: the Pellston Education Foundation.

Today, that vision continues to grow—providing scholarships and grants that enrich learning opportunities for students across Pellston Public Schools.

What began as one family's tribute has become a community-wide investment in the future of Pellston students.
