Jack Pine Stables Jack Pine Stables is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization that specializes in Therapeutic Horsemanship a The stable does not offer private lessons or trail rides.

Operating in the summer months and into early fall, Jack Pine Stables offers weekly lessons to youth and adults with any special needs. The stable also utilizes many community volunteers, including young adults from the area. The riding program is operated by Teri Gapinski and Kris Oppegaard, PATH International Certified Instructors. Jack Pine Stables does not discriminate on the basis of race,

When someone you love is dying…

You start to see life differently.

The little things become the big things.
A shared smile. A held hand. A story you’ve heard a thousand times but suddenly cling to like a lifeline.

There’s honor in walking someone home with grace, comfort, and presence.

Can’t help but think of my trailblazer Kris Oppegaard every time I hear this song. Thank you Kris for sharing your passion, mentorship, patience and love for the people and horses in our Jack Pine family. Couldn’t have had anyone better lead the way for us.
