Description: All-Terrain Vehicle Volunteer Trail Ambassadors are responsible for greeting off-highway vehicle (OHV) enthusiasts, educating trails users, trail monitoring, and providing useful information about responsible Off-highway vehicle use on public lands. A Qualified Organization is defined as an active Off-highway vehicle club in Minnesota that is willing to participant in the Trail Ambassador grant program.
Requirements
Individuals registering for this training must meet the following requirements:
• Must be sponsored by a local qualified organization (OHV club).
• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
• Submit to a background check (MN Statute 84.027 Subd 17)
• Must be a Certified MN DNR V ATV Safety Instructor
• Must possess a valid driver's license
There is no fee to attend. Please bring a pen and your driver's license. Training materials along with morning refreshments & lunch will be provided at no cost to participants.
