This morning, ACTIONS SPOKE. 💙💛

In just 90 minutes, volunteers packed 2,500 Weekend Snack Sacks for local students.

2,500 sacks filled with food
2,500 chances to help a child through the weekend
2,500 reminders that this community cares

That kind of impact does not happen by accident. It happens when people show up, work together, and put service into action.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who gave their time this morning, and to Co President Dr. Mike Towler for his leadership in helping coordinate this important effort.

This is the heart of Adrian Morning Rotary. Neighbors helping neighbors. Service with purpose. Action that truly matters.

🎒 Weekend Snack Sack Packing is Back!

It’s time for Adrian Morning Rotary’s first Weekend Snack Sack packing of the new school year!

📅 Friday, August 21
⏰ 9:00 a.m. to approximately 11:00 a.m.
📍 Our regular packing location at old Drager now Headstart school building. Enter at the back of the building on Frank st near the Division St intersection. See the map for the exact location.

These Snack Sacks help make sure local students have food to take home for the weekend, and we need helping hands! 💙

If you have a couple of hours to give, come pack with us. You do not need to be a Rotarian to volunteer. Bring a friend, coworker, or family member and help us start the school year by making a difference right here in Lenawee County.

Reminder 📌
Just a reminder that our regularly scheduled meeting has been changed to next week, Wednesday August 12 at 7am at The Centre for the annual meeting with our District Governor, Kim Spirou. Kim will be coming from Canada and will be spending several days meeting with the clubs in Lenawee County. We look forward to our visit together.

The Adrian Morning Rotary Club and Adrian Noon Rotary Club have teamed up to help save lives through our community blood drive at the Adrian Armory.

There is still time to donate. Stop by anytime before 5:00 PM and give the gift of life. One donation can help multiple people in need, and it only takes a little of your time to make a lasting impact.

We hope to see you at the Armory before 5:00 PM. Together, we can make a difference. 🩸

Every project starts with someone who simply decided to show up.

At Adrian Morning Rotary, we're People of Action. We pack weekend snack sacks for local children, support literacy, recognize outstanding students, plant trees, build Little Free Libraries, partner with local nonprofits, and look for new ways to make our community stronger.

August is New Membership and Member Development Month, but we believe every month is the perfect time to welcome someone who wants to make a difference.

If you've been looking for a way to give back, meet great people, and create lasting impact right here in Lenawee County, we'd love to have you join us for coffee.
