Cancer Awareness Network We are a non-profit community organization striving to empower cancer patients/survivors and their caretakers

Cancer Awareness Network (started in 1997) is soliciting help from local hospitals and businesses to partner via our unique workshops. We educate the community by providing materials for preventive measures that families can implement to assist future generations by lowering the risk of getting cancer. Healthy eating habits, non-smoking, and exercise are our main focal points in this area. Our key

speaker, Dr. Sharon Spencer, Radiation Oncologist shares the latest updates on cancer research and recent breakthroughs about cancer. How-to demonstrations on self breast exams, dealing with grief, sharing, and positive thinking are a few of the hands-on examples we use at each workshop to empower attendees.
