Since 2019 we have also been providing weekend food for Ada Elementary students through the Bulldog Blessings Backpack Program. The Ada Food Pantry serves the hungry of Ada-Liberty Township, including ONU students, as well as those in adjacent townships with an Ada OH mailing address. Clients are registered during their first visit of the calendar year. The client must present an Ohio driver’s lic
ense or equivalent photo ID well as a current utility bill or lease agreement with an Ada address with each visit to the pantry. At the initial visit the client must also present a Social Security card, driver’s license, or equivalent photo ID for every member of the household. This requirement is waived for households of just two people. Clients may select their own food from the choices on Pantry shelves, or stay in their vehicle and receive curbside service. All donations to the Pantry are welcome. Besides food, the Pantry distributes paper products, personal care products, and cleaning supplies. Items can be delivered during the Pantry’s open hours, or there may be a collection area at your church. Monetary donations can be dropped off at the Pantry or mailed to P.O. Box 237, Ada OH 45810.
