๐ฃ Weโre excited to announce the arrival of our brand-new donation bin at the church to make donating items to our pantries even easier!
๐ซ ๐๏ธDonโt confuse this with a garbage bin.....
๐ฅฟ โจItโs a fantastic spot for you to donate your gently used household items, clothing or canned goods and NOT the place to toss expired snacks, mystery leftovers, or your cousin Bobโs failed DIY projects. ๐ชข๐โโ๏ธ
๐ Here are some helpful tips to avoid any mix-ups:
โ๏ธ ๐We accept gently used clothing, like those pair of jeans that havenโt fit you since the 90โs. Donโt worry theyโre coming back in style. ๐๐บ
๐
โโ๏ธ But that shirt that has more holes than Swiss cheese and more stains than a Picasso painting? Itโs better off in a garbage bin ๐๏ธ
๐ฅ ๐ฆ If your kitchen is overflowing with gadgets from too much late-night Amazon shopping (Donโt worry we wonโt judge) we gladly take small appliances and kitchenware. ๐ฝ๏ธ
๐ซ ๐
โโ๏ธ We donโt accept broken appliances, old spices, open packages of food, or anything that may spontaneously combust ๐ฅ Kindly give those items to your garbage man. ๐
๐ ๐ Weโll also accept small household items and decor. Itโs been six months since Christmas, itโs ok to donate that ugly picture your aunt got you, we wonโt tell her. ๐คซ ๐ค
๐ซ ๐ฆข But we wonโt accept any of the dressed goose decor from the 80โs, that stuff is never coming back in style ๐ฎ ๐ ๐คจ
๐ Spread the word and we kindly thank you for your donations and for helping us bless our community. ๐คฒ ๐ซถ
