📣 We’re excited to announce the arrival of our brand-new donation bin at the church to make donating items to our pantries even easier!
🚫 🗑️Don’t confuse this with a garbage bin.....
🥿 ✨It’s a fantastic spot for you to donate your gently used household items, clothing or canned goods and NOT the place to toss expired snacks, mystery leftovers, or your cousin Bob’s failed DIY projects. 🪢🙎♂️
👉 Here are some helpful tips to avoid any mix-ups:
✔️ 👖We accept gently used clothing, like those pair of jeans that haven’t fit you since the 90’s. Don’t worry they’re coming back in style. 💃🕺
🙅♂️ But that shirt that has more holes than Swiss cheese and more stains than a Picasso painting? It’s better off in a garbage bin 🗑️
🥘 📦 If your kitchen is overflowing with gadgets from too much late-night Amazon shopping (Don’t worry we won’t judge) we gladly take small appliances and kitchenware. 🍽️
🚫 🙅♂️ We don’t accept broken appliances, old spices, open packages of food, or anything that may spontaneously combust 💥 Kindly give those items to your garbage man. 🚛
😍 🏠 We’ll also accept small household items and decor. It’s been six months since Christmas, it’s ok to donate that ugly picture your aunt got you, we won’t tell her. 🤫 🤐
🚫 🦢 But we won’t accept any of the dressed goose decor from the 80’s, that stuff is never coming back in style 😮 👒 🤨
😀 Spread the word and we kindly thank you for your donations and for helping us bless our community. 🤲 🫶
