Thanksgiving Meal Basket Sign-Ups Are Now Open!

The Accord Fire District Ladies Auxiliary is looking to help local families in need this Thanksgiving by providing Thanksgiving meal baskets!

We know times can be tough, and we want to do our part to make sure families in our community can enjoy a Thanksgiving meal together.

If you or someone you know could use a little extra help this holiday season, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We understand that asking for help isn’t always easy, which is why all requests will remain completely confidential.

You are also welcome to anonymously refer a family, elderly neighbor, or individual who may be in need.

To sign up or refer someone, please send us a private message on Facebook or feel free to text 845-549-0745.

A few things to keep in mind:

* We have a limited number of baskets available, and they will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
* If you are already signed up to receive a Thanksgiving meal through another organization or assistance program, we kindly ask that you refrain from signing up for ours. We want to spread the generosity as far as possible and help as many different families as we can.
* All requests and referrals will remain confidential.

Our goal is to bring a little extra kindness and comfort to families in our community this Thanksgiving.

Help Us Give Back This Thanksgiving!

The Accord Fire District Ladies Auxiliary is still collecting donations for our Thanksgiving Meal Basket Drive!

We will be accepting donations until November 3rd!

Our goal is to help as many local families as possible enjoy a Thanksgiving meal this year. We would love to collect as many donations as we can before our deadline so we can determine just how many families we will be able to provide meals for.

Every donation, big or small, makes a difference! Whether it’s a monetary donation, nonperishable food items, or something purchased from our Amazon Wishlist, every contribution brings us one step closer to helping another family in our community.

We know times are tough for many, especially around the holidays, and we are incredibly grateful for the generosity and support we’ve already received.

We’re starting early this year!

The Accord Fire District Ladies Auxiliary is excited to put together our very first Thanksgiving Give Back Baskets for local families in need.

Since this is our first year doing this, we really want to make it a good one and help as many families in our community as we possibly can. We are currently accepting donations of Thanksgiving meal items, and every single donation, big or small, will help us fill another family’s table this Thanksgiving.

We are also offering the option to Sponsor a Family:

$50 – Helps provide a meal for a small family
$75 – Helps provide a meal for a medium family
$100 – Helps provide a meal for a large family

If you would rather donate items, you can drop them off at Accord Company One Fire District, Monday–Friday from 9 AM–3 PM.
