Town of Rochester Food Pantry The Town of Rochester Food Pantry provides free emergency food, on an as-requested basis, to hungry families within and around the Town of Rochester.

Our mission is to provide emergency food, on an as-requested basis, to hungry families and individuals in the Town of Rochester and area code 12446, which consists of several small hamlets in the County of Ulster, New York State. The Rochester Food Pantry is a non-profit organization run entirely by vo

lunteers serving the food needs of those in the Town of Rochester since 1992 and is an equal opportunity provider. During 2023, we served more than 1300 families composed of more than 3800 individuals providing nearly 35,000 meals. During the holidays we provide "baskets" to help make the holiday more bountiful. In the summer, we have a help yourself vegetable market with donations from our local farmers, for anyone in the Town of Rochester, who can use the produce. We're partnering with so many wonderful groups. Next up we are expanding our relationship with Cornell Cooperative Extension of Ulster County. We've worked with their Master Gardener program and the 4H group. We're now teaming up with their Nutrition folks to bring a cooking workshop and meal on September 12th, right next door to the Food Pantry. Use QR code to register.
