SOI Gridiron Spotlight Series
Today’s spotlight is Lucas Jordan, a Class of 2027 WR/FS from Abington Ghosts Football

Lucas is a two-way player who brings athleticism, range, and confidence to the Ghosts. Last season, he finished with 2 interceptions and 14 total tackles while also contributing at wide receiver.

His coach expects him to have a large role this season on both offense and defense, praising the command he showed in the secondary and his ability to help get teammates in the right spots. If he stays healthy, this could be a breakout season for Jordan.

Lucas pointed to his sophomore season start at free safety as one of his proudest moments, finishing that game with an interception, multiple pass breakups, and 7 tackles. He also takes pride in competing in the Suburban One League, where the level of competition pushes players to keep getting better.

The Gridiron Spotlight Series highlights local athletes who are producing on the field, handling business in the classroom, and representing their programs the right way.
