Millions of animals needlessly suffer in labs, breeding facilities, roadside zoos, and other exploitative industries. The USDA is supposed to protect these animals by enforcing the Animal Welfare Act, but it has repeatedly failed to do so. However, the Better CARE for Animals Act will help protect animals by strengthening AWA enforcement. Contact your legislators today!

Zeb is a 46-year-old chimpanzee who endured years of research at an Atlanta lab. He now lives alone in a South African zoo. Thankfully the Chimfunshi Wildlife Orphanage Trust secured approval to transfer Zeb to their sanctuary. You can help chimps like Zeb by supporting AAVS's Sanctuary Fund!
