Faith Rocks Ministry Equine Programming We welcome children and families into a safe environment where they will explore mindfulness-based practices, supported by the grounding presence of horses.

In addition to my role as the owner/facilitator of Faith Rocks, I serve as a youth case manager at Central Kansas Mental Health Center. Although my horse program is not affiliated with CKMHC, I incorporate the knowledge I've gained in the mental health field into my work within the arena. I blend this understanding with connected horsemanship practices and faith-based philosophies to support indiv

iduals affected by trauma, addiction, and those seeking to develop healthy leadership skills and personal growth. My goal is to cultivate compassion by promoting attunement—the sense of being seen, heard, felt and understood. I have certifications in:

Some of you may be wondering why you didn’t see me in the parade yesterday.

Some think it’s because I’m injured due to an old Facebook post that came up about my accident back in 2021. So to be clear, I am fine and not injured. ☺️.

As far as the parade goes, due to a series of unfortunate events, me and half of my group were not able to join the parade until about Little Ike’s Park. . I do want to give a shout out to all my girls who rode with me. They were awesome and their hard work made it possible for us all to get into the parade at some point. They are a true blessing!

Dajia recently began attending Faith Rocks and has shown encouraging improvement in her speech during the initial three sessions. Regrettably, she is experiencing cardiac complications and is currently hospitalized at the Cardiac ICU at Children’s Mercy. I am deeply saddened to announce the loss of our dear Chocolate Milk, who was euthanized today due to a tracheal condition that could not be treated. She was a treasured friend to many young people in the community and provided comfort to those in need. She will be greatly missed.

Story Time with Horses! Tuesday April 14th at 10 am AND 4 pm. This special story time at the library will feature special guests Faith Rocks Ministry Equine Programming . There will be stories, music, crafts, snacks , sensory and most of all fun!
This will be our last story time in April, as we gear up for summer reading!
