Today, on Flag Day, we honor the individuals who have served our country.

The Veterans Flag Fund at Community Foundation of Dickinson County was established to help construct and maintain the Avenue of Flags and Veterans Memorial at the Abilene Cemetery, honoring the service and sacrifice of local veterans while creating a place of remembrance for generations to come.

If you would like to support the Veterans Flag Fund, donations can be made here:

What a meaningful way to celebrate Flag Day and honor those who have served.
