We had the honor of welcoming the .nations team to the 92hands site, where they participated in the orientation week for the US4Women 2024 cohort. This event provided a platform for women to receive encouragement and prayers as they embarked on their forthcoming journey. Subsequently, the team joined us, contributing their expertise to educate and raise awareness about the utilization of water purifiers in the Katanga slum.

The purifiers have played a crucial role in ensuring access to clean and safe drinking water, effectively putting a stop to waterborne diseases such as Diarrhea and Cholera.

Slum Communities highly struggle with the harsh challenges of water scarcity and pollution, resulting in various waterborne illnesses such as cholera,typhoid and many others .

Thanks to .nations , we’ve supplied water filters to Katanga slum, accompanied by training sessions on their proper usage. This initiative aims to ensure access to safe, clean drinking water, fostering improved health.

Our ongoing efforts are geared towards extending this provision to more families within slum communities.

The 2023 class of US4Women has been truly remarkable, brimming with incredible students whose hearts are filled with joy and cherished memories.

With 175 women skilled in tailoring, hairdressing, makeup, and bakery, we firmly believe they are well-equipped to embark on their new journey, one that will not only advance their careers but also empower them to generate income for their families.

Special thanks to everyone who made this dream come true.
