🌍♻️ What if waste became the starting point of innovation?
Through “Transforming Waste into Opportunities” , AGARUW is empowering the next generation to rethink waste not as an end, but as the beginning of sustainable solutions.
National students and international students through Amideast come to discover the potential of circular design, technology, recycling, and social entrepreneurship through interactive sessions, and inspiring discussions of conception and co creation. Together, they explored how creativity and collaboration can drive real environmental and social impact.
✨ Impact so far:
• 👥 180+ young and different profiles people engaged across our workshops
• 🌍 Participants from multiple nationalities learning and creating together in Tunisia
• ♻️ Textile , wood , metal and solid waste transformed into valuable products and innovative ideas for B2B
• 🤝 Stronger connections between youth, artisans,companies through the circular economy
This initiative is implemented by AGARUW as part of (MYA) programme, supported by the Anna Lindh Foundation, proving that when young people are equipped with the right tools, they don’t just imagine a better future they build it.
The journey is just beginning. 💚

🌱✨ workshop Retour sur journée d’échange, de créativité et d’engagement aux côtés de BYD.
À travers cet atelier grand public, nous avons exploré ensemble comment ce que l’on considère souvent comme une fin peut devenir le point de départ de nouvelles possibilités. Une réflexion collective autour de la consommation responsable, de la créativité et de solutions à impact positif.
Cette activité s’inscrit dans une dynamique méditerranéenne soutenant l’innovation sociale et environnementale, avec l’appui de la ALF EU. 🌍💚
Parce que les meilleures opportunités naissent parfois là où les autres voient simplement des déchets.

Real change starts when people come together around a shared purpose.

Over the past months, we had the opportunity to engage students, young professionals, innovators, general public , B2b partners and community members in meaningful workshops and conversations around sustainability, innovation, responsible consumption, and the role each of us can play in shaping a better future.

From exchanging ideas to exploring practical solutions, every interaction reinforced one thing: the transition toward a more sustainable world will be driven by people who are willing to learn, collaborate, and take action.

What if waste wasn't the end of a product's story, but the beginning of a new one?

Through this public interactive workshop, more than 80 public participants explored how creativity, innovation, and circular thinking can transform discarded materials into valuable opportunities for people, communities, and the planet.

From inspiring discussions to hands-on activities, the workshop highlighted the power of sustainable solutions and the role each of us can play in building a more circular future.With the highlight electric green innovative cars of BYD our partner EU ALF supporting this initiative Together, we're proving that sustainability is not just about reducing waste......it's about creating new possibilities. ✨

What happens when creativity meets sustainability?

As part of our Mediterranean Youth in Action initiative, we brought together young people, artisans, and community members to explore how waste can become a resource.
From textile upcycling and sewing to woodworking and creative reuse, participants transformed discarded materials into new products while gaining practical skills and a deeper understanding of circular economy principles.
These workshops were more than hands-on activities—they created spaces for learning, collaboration, and environmental action.
Every piece created tells a story: from waste to worth.
