is a Non-governmental subsidiary of the Rotary and consists of young professionals aged 18 and older who exchange ideas, plan activities and projects at least twice a month through General Meetings in combination with alot of fun, food & fellowship while serving the Community! is chartered by the Rotary Club of Paramaribo Residence and this makes them "partners in service" and key members of Rotar

y International. stands for:

E = Education
S = Stimulation
H = Helpful

Rotaract Club F.R.E.S.H. has the following goals:
● To develop professional and leadership skills
● To emphasize respect for the rights of others, based on recognition of the worth of each individual
● To recognize the dignity and value of all useful occupations as opportunities to serve
● To recognize, practice, and promote ethical standards as leadership qualities and vocational responsibilities
● To develop knowledge and understanding of the needs, problems, and opportunities in the community and worldwide
● To provide opportunities for personal and group activities to serve the community and promote international understanding and goodwill toward all people

After our 4th General Meeting, we visited the historic Fort Zeelandia complex for an insightful tour through Suriname’s rich history as part of National Heritage Month. 🇸🇷

The tour was guided by our very own F.R.E.S.H.’er, Darren, who shared fascinating stories and facts about Suriname’s history and heritage. 📚✨

It was a great opportunity to learn, connect, and gain a deeper appreciation for the history that shaped our country.

Because service starts with understanding the community we serve. 💙

On Saturday, August 15th, we came together for our fourth General Meeting of this Rotary year!!

Our General Assembly focused on our ReF.R.E.S.H. journey regarding our Club's documents. Continuing with our Presidential elections, where VP Chai-Ann was chosen as our President- Elect , finishing our General Assembly with a Club Assembly.

During the Club Assembly, our members came together to vote on the annual club budget and the proposed increase of our club fee.

Every voice matters, every vote counts, and together we continue building a stronger F.R.E.S.H. for the year ahead. 💙

What an incredible day of connection and impact! For our first Community Service project "Shelf-Esteem", we visited the wonderful children at Children's Home Saron for an unforgettable afternoon filled with storytelling, games, and genuine smiles.

This beautiful initiative came to life thanks to the generous support of our sponsors Fernandes Bakkerij N.V. and Hatramij N.V., as well as our dedicated former Fresher Warsha, Shreeya, Jadee and the rest of our amazing Freshers, who provided a fantastic collection of donated books.

A huge shout-out goes to professional athlete/basketball player Gavin Kensmil for bringing that amazing energy on-site to keep the kids active, engaged, and inspired all day long.

Together, we are creating moments that truly matter! 🤝✨
