🌱 SGA Training of Trainers – Session 3

On July 18, 2026, the third session of the Sustainable Green Ambassadors (SGA) Training of Trainers (ToT) Programme took place.

During this session, participants took the next step from gaining knowledge to designing and delivering effective learning activities.

Key topics included:

🎯 Learning objectives and activities
Participants learned how to connect learning objectives with suitable activities to achieve meaningful learning outcomes.

📚 Selecting learning materials
The group explored how to choose appropriate learning materials based on the objective, target group, and activity.

⏰ Time management – the 20-30-50 Rule
Participants worked with the 20-30-50 rule as a guideline for balancing theory, interaction, and practical application during a training.

The highlight of the session was the simulation activity, where participants delivered their own mini-lessons, applied their skills, and reflected on their performance through feedback.

This session once again showed that being a good trainer is not only about having knowledge, but also about knowing how to share it in an interactive, clear, and purposeful way.

With these skills, the participants are becoming better prepared to inspire children and young people about the environment, sustainability, and protecting our natural surroundings. 🌍

Together, we learn, share, and build the next generation of Green Ambassadors!

Every year on August 19, the world comes together to recognize World Humanitarian Day, a day dedicated to honoring the people who provide life-saving support and assistance to communities affected by crises, disasters, and difficult circumstances.

It is also a moment to recognize the courage, compassion, and dedication of humanitarian workers and volunteers who continue to help others, often in challenging conditions. Most importantly, the day reminds us that humanity starts with caring for one another. 🤝

On Wednesday, July 8th, during the peak of the 2026 World Cup, we gathered for our Mid-Year Meeting where we reflected on the first half of 2026.

One of the most important moments of the meeting was the presentation of the Mid-Year Report by our Local President Jason Menso capturing our progress, what’s still to come and points we can improve on.

Other key moments included:
* The successful presentation of the final report of our Green Panel
* A presentation on International Human Duties Day
* Experience sharing of the 2026 Conference of the Americas

Of course, we took time to recognize those who went above and beyond for our chapter:

* Fellow of the Quarter: Isaura Tholen
