Today in Kono: The Chairperson of the Independence Day Celebration Planning Committee Mrs. Yei Jeneba Saquee and her team presented 24 Solar Street Lights to the Chief Administration of Koidu City Council and the Chief Administration of Koidu Government Hospital in the presence of our revered Paramount Chiefs: PC Tamba Emmanuel Foryoh (Soa) Chairman Council of Paramount Chiefs, PC Sahr Ngebuva Konobundor of Gorama Kono, PC Abu Duramani Soloko of Toli, and PC Aiah Bindi Gongor of Gbane. 12 Lights will be installed at the Koidu Government Hospital, 4 Lights will be installed at Star Point in Tankoro, 4 Lights at the Koidu City Clock Tower and 4 Lights at Opera Junction.* On behalf of the planning committee and YES-Kono, thank you to all our brothers and sisters in the diaspora who donated to the 62nd Independence Day and Say No To Kush Fund. Because of your donations we are able to provide the 24 Solar Street Lights to the City and the Hospital. We appreciate you all. We plan to provide more solar lights to other hospitals, schools and places of worship.
