Alhamdulillah, during our recent three-day visit to Liberia, the Imam Development Program (IDP) team had the honor of engaging with Islamic leadership and Imams, contributing to the continued expansion of the program.

The application process was formally launched and received with great interest. The Imams expressed strong confidence in the program’s potential to empower and support Imams across the country.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the Imam Development Program (IDP) Team in South Africa and the Coordinating Team in Liberia for their dedication and support.

Special thanks to Sheikh Ibrahim Jalloh, Moulana Issa Coker, Sheikh Bilah, Sheikh Bah, Sheikh Moris Sheriff, Sheikh Moriken Kenneh, Sister Musu Fahnbulleh and the various Islamic Councils across Liberia for their invaluable contributions to the successful expansion of the program.

Alhamdulillah, Today we successfully held a productive meeting with Islamic stakeholders and Imams in Conakry.

During the meeting, we discussed the concept of the Imam Development Program (IDP) and officially launched the application process in Guinea.

The participants expressed their appreciation for the initiative and warmly welcomed it. They also showed great enthusiasm in becoming members of the organization.

🌍 IDP FIELD SUPPORT VISIT TO GUINEA 🇬🇳

Alhamdulillah, we are pleased to announce an important mission by the Imam Development Program (IDP) as we expand our impact beyond borders.

From 9th – 11th April 2026, our delegation, led by Imam Amadu Fofanah, will be in Conakry, Guinea, to engage with key stakeholders in the Islamic community.

To strengthen collaboration and support the growth of Imams and Mualimas through meaningful engagement with:
• Islamic Leaders
• National Chief Imam
• Imams and Muslimas
• Islamic Organizations
• Islamic Centers

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

We, the Imams of Imam Development Program (IDP) Sierra Leone, extend our warmest Eid al-Fitr greetings to the Muslim Ummah across Sierra Leone and beyond.

As we celebrate this blessed day, we pray that Allah (SWT) accepts our fasting, prayers, charity, and all acts of worship performed during the sacred month of Ramadan.

May this Eid be a source of peace, unity, and renewed faith in our hearts and communities. Let us continue to uphold righteousness, support one another, and remain steadfast in the path of Allah.

We also make a special du‘a for our respected CEO, Bilal Ismail, and the entire IDP team in South Africa. May Allah grant them strength, wisdom, and continued success in their efforts to serve the Ummah, and reward them abundantly for their dedication and sacrifice.

We also pray for the growth and impact of IDP globally, that Allah places barakah in all its initiatives and makes it a means of guidance and الخير for many.
