United Team Sierra Leone - U Team SL Participates in UNDP in Sierra Leone –Peace Commission Conflict Analysis Consultation

The journey toward lasting peace and stability in Sierra Leone continues to gain momentum, and the United Team Sierra Leone (U-Team SL) is honoured to be part of this national effort.

Organized by the UNDP, in partnership with the Peace Commission, U Team SL participated in a high-level Conflict Analysis Regional Consultation meeting held in Bo city . This event reflects the growing recognition of U Team SL’s role in community engagement, peace building, and social development across the country.

The consultation brought together diverse stakeholders, including civil society organizations, governance actors, community leaders, and development partners, to examine the drivers of conflict in various regions and to strengthen strategies for early warning, conflict prevention, and sustainable peace.

Being part of this dialogue provided U Team SL with a platform to contribute its on-the-ground experience, share key insights, and advocate for more community-led solutions.

For U Team SL, this engagement aligns deeply with the organisation’s mission: promoting unity, fostering dialogue, and empowering communities. Participating in such regional consultations ensures that the voices of ordinary citizens, especially those from underserved communities, are represented at national decision-making tables.

As Sierra Leone continues to navigate social, economic, and political challenges, partnerships like these between local organisations, national institutions, and global partners are crucial.

The U Team SL remains committed to supporting peace mechanisms and contributing not just perspectives, but meaningful action toward a conflict-free and prosperous Sierra Leone.
