COMMONERS CLUB SIERRA LEONE CELEBRATES 2 OF ITS MEMBERS WERE ELECTED AS NATIONAL OFFICERS OF THE SIERRA LEONE’S PEOPLE PARTY.

1st AUGUST, 2025.

As Education is one of the Pillers of Commoners Sierra Leone, our institution have over the years produced brighter generations that have contributed greatly to National development in Sierra Leone.

Today, we celebrate two of our members elected as national officers of the ruling Sierra Leone people’s party.

WHO IS BABADI KAMARA?

Babadi Kamara is a visionary leader from SierraLeone. He is an accountant and a businessman.

Babadi Kamara also know as BBD is someone who transforms vision into reality by setting clear goals, developing a strategic plan to achieve those goals, and empowering every team member to take action at the organizational, team, and individual levels.

His ability to work with team members makes him more powerful and special from others.

Upon becoming Executive Chairman of Bo Rangers FC in 2019, His leadership and strategic vision have been instrumental in shaping Bo Rangers FC success. As a football administrator with a visionary mindset, he has established a clubhouse, developed a standard training facility, secured championships, and positioned the club for international competition.
Beyond his professional achievements,his dedication,integrity, and generosity have left a lasting impact on everyone who has the privilege of working with him.
Today, Commoners Club Sierra Leone is not only calling on it membership to come out in their Chinese number to support their own Elder Babadi Kamara on Saturday, 5th April 2025, at the RADISSON BLU 1pm but also advising all DELEGATE to vote wisely and put Sierra Leone football first by Voting Babadi Kamara.

Imagine the achievements we could see as a country in football when he assume the presidency of the SLFA.

*TO ALL MEMBERS OF COMMONERS CLUB SIERRA LEONE*

We; the National representatives of Commoners Sierra Leone led by Chairman Smart and the Interim Executive led by Chairman Joe are pleased to inform you all that a significant and historic decision that marks a new chapter in our collective journey was made earlier this month. *In the spirit of unity and for the betterment of our beloved club, the two executives have come together as one for the good and betterment of our beloved family.*

As we may recalled the brouhaha/stalemate that has eaten into the fabrics of unity, peace and love of this unique family of ours for 2 years, to which no one wins, but has been a lose focus of our common vision. This begs the question, to what end we think we can continue like this?

It is against this backdrop we’ve decided to recognize the importance of our shared values and the principles outlined in our oath, committed to fostering peace and collaboration among all members.

Our goal is to rekindle the vision of greatness for Commoners, ensuring that we uplift and support one another in our endeavors.

We stand firm in our dedication to the ideals of the Black ideology, which emphasizes strength, resilience, and empowerment. Together, we will work diligently to create an inclusive environment where every voice is heard, and every individual is valued.

*Let us move forward hand in hand, embracing our diversity and collective strength to make Commoners great again. We invite all members of our darling club to join us in this noble pursuit.*

*In Conclusion, we would also want to notify the general membership that a NATIONAL COMMITTEE OF 10 SENIOR ELDERS has been set-up comprising of 5 from each executive to coordinate, mand, and facilitate this year's National Transition process in the next couple of weeks.*

*RAISING AWARENESS AND CAMPAIGN AGAINST M-POX.*

Mpox, previously known as monkeypox, is a viral illness caused by the monkeypox virus, a species of the genus Orthopoxvirus.
Mpox continues to be a threat today, and an upsurge of cases in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and other countries including Sierra Leone caused by clades Ia and Ib has raised concern.
There are vaccines for mpox. Vaccination should be considered along with other public health interventions.

Mpox can be transmitted through close contact with someone who has mpox, with contaminated materials, or with infected animals. During pregnancy, the virus may be passed to the fetus, or to the newborn during or after birth. Mpox is treated with supportive care for symptoms such as pain and fever, with close attention to nutrition, hydration, skin care, prevention of secondary infections and treatment of co-infections, including HIV where present.
Overview

Mpox is an infectious disease that can cause a painful rash, enlarged lymph nodes, fever, headache, muscle ache, back pain and low energy. Most people fully recover, but some get very sick.

The natural reservoir of the virus is unknown, but various small mammals such as squirrels and monkeys are susceptible.

The leadership is calling on all to pay close attention to our health and report to the nearest hospital if there is any symptom mentioned above.
