Following the final module of our Second Semester Examination, I led a team of Smart Media Press members on a courtesy visit to the Chancellor of Central University, Dr. Muckson Sesay Snr., to reaffirm our commitment to responsible campus journalism and empowering students with digital media skills.
Dr. Muckson Sesay commended our efforts as Level 200 students, particularly our role in bridging the information gap between the student community and the university administration.
was established to empower students to develop and showcase their skills in journalistic writing, reporting, broadcasting, public speaking, leadership, and digital media production.
For the past one year and eight months, we have organized free media training programmes for students, covered university events and programmes, independently conduct SUG elections, and contributed to strengthening communication between students and the administration.
As we conclude the Second Semester, we extend our deepest appreciation to the administration of for its continued support and for providing facilities and opportunities that have enabled us to pursue our media initiatives.
Special thanks to all lecturers in the Central University Communication & Humanities Department for their guidance, dedication, engaging and practical teaching methods. Every lecture and practical experience has contributed significantly to improving our media, reporting, and production skills.

As we prepare for our qualifying year (Third Year/Level 300), we look forward to continuing our mission of empowering students with the knowledge, skills, and values needed to become responsible and professional media practitioners.
