A Day of Heritage at Koidu Girls Secondary School (KGSS)
There is a unique power in the stories we inherit. Today at Koidu Girls Secondary School (KGSS), we didn’t just talk about the past; we began the work of reclaiming it.

Kono Denen Sowa means "Kono Children Stand," and seeing the energy in that room, it was clear that the next generation is ready to stand tall. We spent the day Retelling Kono Stories, bridging the gap between our ancestral wisdom and the bright, digital future we are building together.

Why This Matters
Identity: Understanding our roots gives us the confidence to grow.

Empowerment: By sharing our traditional narratives, we give our youth the "voice" promised in our mission.

Development: A community that knows its history is better equipped to design its future.
