From participation to leadership. From mentorship to impact.

At GADNet, we do not just host programs, we nurture leaders, build changemakers, and raise voices that transform communities.

Today, we proudly celebrate three outstanding young leaders whose journeys began with GADNet and who are now creating impact in powerful spaces:

Margaret Phillie
Started as a 2024 Mentor and mentoring girls on Entrepreneurship & Financial Literacy Program at the Safe Haven and now serves as Secretary General of the Gender Equity Society, Fourah Bay College.

Fatmata Mariama Koroma
Began her journey through the 2024 National Girls Summit and as part of the 1st Batch of GADNet Safe Haven, and now serves as Student Exchange Officer of the National Association of Pharmaceutical Students.

Ibrahim S. Conteh
Joined the movement through the 2025 National Girls Summit as a committed male ally, and now serves as Organizing Committee Chairperson of the National Association of Pharmaceutical Students.

Their stories are proof that when young people are empowered, mentored, and given opportunity, they rise, they lead, and they inspire.

We are proud of your growth.
We celebrate your impact.
And we look forward to the greater heights ahead.

Girls’ Call To Action 2025
Your Body. Your Rights. Talk. Learn. Empower.

Every girl deserves access to youth-friendly SRHR services, menstrual products, and comprehensive sexuality education without fear, shame, or stigma.

When girls have the right information and support, they are empowered to make informed choices about their bodies and their futures. Let’s break the silence, create safe spaces for open conversations, and ensure no girl is left behind.

Speak up.
Protect your health.
Share knowledge.
Mentor and support other girls.

This is more than a campaign, it’s a movement for confident, informed, and empowered girls.

2025 GIRLS CALL TO ACTION

Every girl deserves to learn in a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom.

From safe transport to digital access and proper school facilities, these are not luxuries, they are necessities for girls to succeed in school.

We call on government ministries, education stakeholders, partners, and communities to take action to ensure:
✅ Safe journeys to and from school
✅ Girl-friendly facilities
✅ Equal digital access
✅ Inclusive learning environments

Together, we can ensure Every Girl is in Every Classroom—safe, confident, and ready to lead.

2025 Girls Call to Action – Education is Your Right

No girl should drop out of school because of poverty, pregnancy, or child marriage. Every girl deserves the chance to learn, grow, and achieve her dreams.

Through the 2025 Girls Call to Action, Girls Advocacy Development Network (GADNet) is amplifying girls’ voices and demanding safe, inclusive, and uninterrupted education for every girl in Sierra Leone.

Stay in school
Stay protected
Stay empowered

Together, let’s break barriers and keep girls in classrooms because education is not a privilege, it is a right.

Leadership isn't a luxury, it’s a right.

The 2025 Girls Call to Action is officially here, and our message is clear: Inclusion is non-negotiable. To build a future that actually works, we must ensure that girls with disabilities, girls from rural areas, and girls from low-income families are not just "present," but leading in every space.

Break the stereotypes. Build the future.
