Building family relationships through disaster relief and community supports in order to love, empower and serve the people of Puerto Rico.

So far in 2026 we have hosted teams and missionaries from Guatemala, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and Mexico! It feels strange having the next 11 weeks without a team, but it’s a great opportunity to tackle some much needed projects around Tabernacle in between local ministry. The oregano forest grew out of control and has been officially pruned! Stay tuned. One of our regular missionaries, Jess Monty, gave us the vision for this space and we are excited to see it come to life!

This is so exciting!! Our free stuff shelf is now an active spot for the community. See these elephants? They’re not ours. Someone walked by and put them there to be donated!! Our community is now gifting AND receiving!! 🙌🏽🥳 Everything that has been put on this shelf has been picked up by someone within the same day. What a wonderful success!!

Getting ready to bake for a friend’s mother who is in the hospital and the power goes out! 💡 But, we are prepared for these (quite normal) outages and the baking must go on!! 👩‍🍳

I had the pleasure of taking our friend and local Aiboniteña Noemi to Salinas to pick up the newest member of her family. Welcome to Aibonito Maggie! 🐾

John 7:1-9 Who controls your decision making? Jesus’ brothers tried to manipulate his path, but Jesus knew that doing something good at the wrong time was ultimately not good. When we are pressured to react to someone’s manipulation, we need to pause and think before reacting. Choosing wisdom is often misperceived as choosing weakness, but walking away from a bad situation takes more guts than giving into pressure. Excellent conversation with the guys tonight!!

Everyone has to leave their handprint before going home, and since it was Liam and Emma’s first time, they were up!! The kids wanted to bring Maria and Esperanza their favorite food, Church’s chicken, as one last gesture of love. So after getting them to the airport and returning the rental, we made one last stop to pick up supplies and deliver Church’s! Buen provecho! 😋
