Children are the edifice to any economy’s or a nation state’s future - today’s children are tomorrow’s prolific workers and engaged citizens. With 39%1 of Pakistan’s population under 18 years, the latest data shows Pakistan having 80.4 million children by 2020. Thus, it is imperative for Pakistan to have programs, interventions and policies initiated in order to champion the rights of the children effectively, and give them a safer sounder future that they deserve. However, unfortunately, children in Pakistan, especially in province of Punjab do not live as safe a life as they fundamentally merit so due to the chronic social deviance and committal of – Child Abuse.
